The Weekend Edit

Happy Friday Friends! It’s been a bit since we had a Weekend Edit sesh, but they are definitely posts that I want to start putting out EVERY weekend. I hope that you guys have had a wonderful few weeks. I’ve throughly enjoyed the end of Summer with my gals and am typing this with tears in my eyes because I send them back to school in just two precious sleeps. The most popular post of the past few weeks has definitely been the LIFE UPDATE. I so appreciate all of your sweet words and positive feedback!

To follow up on that post, this week I shared my thoughts of Landry going to Kindergarten. I cried my way through the post and writing it all out was actually great therapy! I also shared what she chose for her first day of school outfits.

The Weekend Edit: Best of Instagram

I wore this outfit for travel this past week and it was great to transition from a warm climate to a chilly airplane. This cocoon cardigan was a lifesaver and I actually threw it on multiple times during my trip– a great transition piece.

The Weekend Edit: Link Love

This bomber jacket was just put online and I flipping love it! It’s very similar to the ever popular BlankNYC one but in a better color and substantially less expensive. This is definitely a jacket that you’ll wear all Fall long!

This wrap sweater is part of my next Amazon haul, but I’m including it here for you guys to shop early! It’s one of my favorites from the haul and I love the thought of wearing it with a bralette this Fall.

We are in the process of finalizing the Playroom design, but I’m 99% sure we are going to try and include a teepee. Lawson and Landry spend hours playing in makeshift (blanket) forts and I think that they would LOVE having one of these in their playroom. I had NO idea you could find so many on Amazon! The Weekend Edit: Musings

I hope that you guys have a wonderful weekend! We are going to soak up some QT with our girlies before diving back headfirst into a routine. I know that it will be a welcomed sense of calm once I get them settled in, but the anxiety of it all is killing me. Say some prayers for this mama.
