The Most Flattering Dress (that’s also on SALE) August 3, 2016 | Ladies, listen up! This dress right here might just the most flattering dress that I have in my closet (by the same brand that makes the second most flattering dress that I own, too). When I got it, I thought that it was super cute and would be great for work meetings or Sundays, but then I put it on and immediately lost 10lbs and was like WOW, I’ll be wearing this all day every day! All BS aside, it’s so flattering and makes you look thin and honestly who doesn’t love that?! The kimono tie at the waist is thick so it really defines the waist and the tulip hem detail draws the eye to the center of the dress and gives seriously the best shape. Best news is that I found it on sale, too! #yourewelcome Turn on your JavaScript to view content To me, the color is definitely more navy than the product photos portray, which I actually like better. There’s a hint of cobalt in there, but overall a darker shade of blue. I love it paired with my favorite leopard accessories for an end of summer look and then with a chic blazer and closed toe heel as the weather cools down. Suzie DeYoung says August 3, 2016 at 2:49 PM Absolutely gorgeous dress. I’d love to find something like this that is machine washable rather than dry clean only. Love your posts! Keep up the great work!
Style Your Senses says August 3, 2016 at 4:21 PM Suzie, such a great point! The good news is that I try to get at least 2-3 wears out of a dress like this before I dry clean…although my clumsy self usually ends up covered in my dinner somehow so that doesn’t always work! I will certainly keep that feedback in mind for future posts!xo
