The Friday Edit

Hey Hey Fri-yay! If you’re reading this, I’m wheels up and headed to Austin, TX for one of my besties’ bachelorette parties…whoop whoop! This is the second week going with this new schedule and I have to say I’m loving it and feel much less stressed. Are you guys liking what’s going on? I’m also having a blast on snapchat, which has been a fun (and welcomed!) way to show you guys what’s really going on over here…like late night dance parties, lottery ticket mishaps (did you guys also notice that I bought the entire wrong ticket, like not even a powerball… #awesome), and some fun finds while out shopping. The most popular item was actually kind of a surprise to me…it was the metallic espadrilles. I love them so, but you guys REALLY loved them. So fun for Spring and a little $20 treat to remind yourself that warmer weather will come!

You guys can appreciate a good sale just as much as I can, and the fair isle sweaters on sale seemed to be a hit! THIS ONE is my favorite and on sale for under $50! A sweater you’ll wear season after season. See all of the fair isle options in this What I Wore post!

The Golden Globes Fashion roundup was so fun to write. I was literally watching the photos come in from the Red Carpet and finding similar and affordable options…my idea of an ideal night!

Most popular thing from Instagram this week was THIS CHEETAH PRINT KEYCHAIN! It’s honestly one of my favorite things and I get SO many compliments on it. I bought them for all of my girlfriends this Christmas and accidentally got one for myself (whoops!) and certainly no regrets there. It’s around $30 and an awesome gift! Look out for a giveaway this weekend!

The most popular Instagram was this one, a fun detail shot on our way up to the mountains!

I just put this one up last night, but I promise you will want this tunic. It feels like a snuggie. I asked the girl if I could wear it out of the store #sorrynotsorry. Mama’s trust me on this one…you need it.

I posted a sneak of Landry’s second birthday party on Snapchat and you guys screen shot it so many times, so I hope that means that you’re excited about Monday’s post! Yes, I am a FULL YEAR late in posting it…but honestly….better late than never, right??? Here’s a sneak! All of the party details and photos from her “Tea for Two” party will be up on Monday!

I also promised to share the recipe from my favorite dinner this week (I keep forgetting to actually save my snaps, so no pic sorry!)…but it was delish! Roasted Chicken Pesto Florentine. I made my own pesto, used whole wheat angel hair pasta and replaced parmesan with goat cheese crumbles. Landry was even obsessed. Super super easy and very fresh…
