Splurge vs Steal: Practice Freely Tank July 26, 2013 | It wasn’t until my morning run in this unreal.hot.humid Louisiana weather that I remembered about this post! Duh. I had it all ready to go for when I was gone this week and totally forgot. Well, needless to say I was wishing with each mile that I had packed my Practice Freely tank. First, let’s talk about how I packed for 10, yes TEN days in one suitcase (including outfits, shoes, jewelry, etc) for multiple wedding festivities. Can any of you believe this…especially from me…the queen of indecisiveness. Applause please. Thanks. Now, back to the tank. I’ve been crushing on this little lululemon gem for for some time now. It always looks so cute (of course, #1 concern here) and comfy on girls at the gym. I held off for such a long time because seriously $64.00 for a workout tank is just a wee bit much for me. Fast forward a year, and begins my love affair with lulu. Like really…obsessed. Everything fits well and is super flattering, perfect for post baby gear. Anyway, I recently gave in to the Practice Freely tank @ lulu and love it. I’ve always secretly wanted to be one of those confident chicks who can run around in just a sports bra, and while I don’t think that’s in the cards for me, this tank gets me about as close as I’m going to come. The sports bra is a perfect fit and the light, breathable mesh tank is sewn in at top and then drapes loosely to a slight banded waist. The cut allows lots of air flow through the tank, while still providing coverage and a cute fit. Where has this been all of my life?! Well, obviously lots-o-ladies loved it because I swear it wasn’t two days after buying the lulu one that I saw its (much cheaper) clone in Target. While its almost the exact same fit, the materials aren’t quite as good as the PF tank…but then again it’s 1/3 the price! Check both out styles and the verdict below…and believe me if you’re a runner, cross fitter, or hot yoga-er this tank will change your life!
