One Classic Summer Dress | Two Ways! June 15, 2016 | Finally sharing a full post about this dress that I can’t stop wearing over on Instagram! Apologies in advance if you’re over it, because I’m certainly not. I truly love finding a piece that I love and know that I can always throw on and create an outfit that I feel confident in. This little black racerback dress has been one of my top finds of the summer and today I’m showing you guys how to easily dress it up or down. **Right before I published this the dress was marked down to $45!! All sizes are still in stock, but I know that it will go fast. Here’s my very specific fit review so that you know more of what size to order… What size should I order? It runs pretty true to size. I would suggest getting the size that you normally wear in a top, as the bottom of this dress is loose and forgiving. Normally, I am a 6 in fitted dresses, but am wearing a 4 in this one. Is it long? Yes. I’m 5’9 to give you an idea of length. It does come in petite, so I would say if you’re 5’7 and under go with petite so that it’s not TOO long on you. Does it pack well? YES! It folded down to nearly flat and came out with minimal wrinkles. What bra do I wear? I’ve worn both a strapless bra and a bandeau with it. You could also wear a lace racerback bralette. I’ve always strayed from hats, feeling like they might be a bit over the top for day to day wear or that my face wasn’t the right shape to wear them. So glad that I decided to give them a try, because I was so mistaken. They are SO easy to throw on over summer pool hair and actually really flattering to wear. PS: These lace up tassel sandals have been one of the top sellers on the blog and they’ve now sold out twice at various retailers. If you’ve been eyeing them, I found them IN STOCK in ALL sizes HERE. Oh and they are under $60, so YAY! I finally found the EXACT black squash blossom necklace that I’m wearing here! A total steal at $30, too! Dress | Denim Vest | Fedora | Squash Blossom Necklace | Sandals (Under $60) Here’s the dressed up version. Simply switch out the sandals for heels and the squash blossom for a gold statement necklace, add a pop of neon in the clutch and now you’re ready for date night! I included this “blooper” to start off with because this is what a photo shoot really looks like. Right here I’m trying to get my dress to catch in the wind to get that beautiful wind blown look and, well, it wasn’t working and by this time a crowd of people were watching me make a total fool of myself. Thank you guys for letting me be my goofy self on here…life is too short to take yourself too seriously 🙂 Turn on your JavaScript to view content These leopard strappy heels, though. They are light enough for summer, but still saucy. I’m obsessed! Dress | Gold Statement Necklace | Leopard Heels | Neon Clutch I hope that you guys snag this dress, it’s definitely one that you will wear over and over this Summer…especially at $45! Whohoo!
