NYFW Trends | Fashion | Style Your Senses

Today I’m working with eBay to share a fun and functional outfit inspired by NYFW trends! I’ve always loved taking the high fashion trends seen on the streets during Fashion Week and figuring out how to work them into my own closet in the most practical and functional way possible. So today I’m talking all about what NYFW trends I’m loving, how I’m wearing them and how I found them ALL on eBay!

Favorite Street Style NYFW Trends:

Menswear, your way! / Menswear is still trending strong in the women’s category, but I love that the silhouettes are changing up a bit. I saw tons of slim cut blazers, double breasted blazers, blazer dresses and (my favorite) cape blazers on the streets and runways of NYC. It’s such a chic trend to take on, and now with the variety of styles, it’s fairly easy to adapt. Here are some affordable options from eBay:

I’m LOVING this cape blazer and think that it’s one of the best layers to keep on hand for Fall. This outfit is an example of a way that I would style it dressed down, but you could also dress it up with black skinnies and a great bodysuit. The best news?! I found it on eBay for $15.00!

Another trend that I loved seeing was lots of movement away from the skinny jean and tons of new denim styles being worn! I’ve made it clear that I’m not sad to see skinny jeans go (although they are still practical and I will still wear them), it’s nice to have other options to style this Fall! My current favorite styles are high waisted crop flares and high waisted mom jeans, especially with any distressing or raw hems. It’s always fun to style new silhouettes and I’m finding that these new jeans are easy to wear with nearly anything. Here are a few pair that I found on eBay to give the same look:

The trend that I can confidently say I was MOST thrilled about was SNEAKERS! They’re everywhere and it makes my mama heart sing because now I have a way to still feel chic while I taxi my kids around on the daily. Safe to say that I’m not going to be indulging in the “Dad Shoe” trend (see what those are HERE), but I will rock my Golden Goose Sneaks all day long.
