The Friday Edit | Style Your Senses

I can’t believe that we meet here again on a Friday!! Yay! This week flew by, yet again and it was the bittersweet last week of school for our little lady. Of course, I’m the mom who thought that the last day was Wednesday…posted the “last day” photo to Facebook…the whole nine yards…yep, not until today. Geez, one day I will get my shiz together. The poor teachers probably just think that there’s just no hope for me. In the meantime, here’s what happened this week on the blog:

Nordstrom’s Half Yearly Sale!! You guys love a good sale as much as I do! I hope that you scored what you wanted while it was still available because, whew, it went fast! You guys also really liked the Fun + Easy DIY Teacher Gift idea! Ours were a total hit with the teachers (when we brought them on Wednesday, when we thought that it was the last day LOL) and I’ve had a few friends put them together and say the same things…easy peasy! THIS was one of the best things I’ve read about Motherhood in a long time. Sometimes the weight of the love that you lug around for your kids feels so so heavy, right? It’s an all consuming, amazing, scary, and crazy kind of love and it’s definitely heavy on the hearts of the mama’s who bear it. Such a great read about how this season of our lives will make us stronger to keep carrying that love into the next phase.

So, quite a few of you asked to see the clip of my big TV debut…so here it is…for your Friday entertainment. I didn’t say anything off the wall, so I called it a win. Um, HI! This tank is $8!!!! I have it in white (see below) and absolutely love it. It’s cut in on the shoulders (I wear a racerback bra with mine) and has a loose hemline, which is perfect to wear tucked or untucked. Seriously, trust me and buy one in each color!

You guys KNOW that I adore my pink lace up sandals, and when I told you that they were on sale you scooped them up like crazy and they are officially SOLD OUT…BUT they do still have most sizes left in the black and I think that they are such a great shoe. SO comfortable, supportive and stylish. A great summer shoe if you are looking for a stylish black option. Shop them HERE.
