Dreaming of D. Porthault July 30, 2013 | Don’t you always feel like you need a vacation after your vacation?! I’m definitely missing the extra helping hands of my sweet family today ((my biceps are literally on fire from holding a teething baby girl all day long)), thus the coffee in hand as I write this. Anyway, I thought that this post would be expectionally fitting, as all I can think about it my bed right about now. I’ve been stumbling across amazing bedrooms styled with D. Porthault linens and have fallen completely in love. L.O.V.E. The story of how they came about in the early 1920’s in Paris is one of rich tradition. Breaking away from the white/ivory traditional bed linens of that time, they introduced a printed sheet with dressmaker details…couture for your bed shall we say. Aren’t the impeccable prints and scalloped edges yummy!?! …And just screaming for a monogram!
