DIY Summer WreathJune 9, 2015 | Looking for an easy way to update your front door for summer? I put together a super easy and colorful summer wreath that won’t cost an arm and a leg and is something that you can put together in under 20 minutes. Pair it back to a few bright, potted summer blooms on your porch and you automatically have a happy entryway. See how-to below: You’ll Need: Grapevine wreath Faux Stems (I used white snap dragons for length and fuchsia poppies for center color) Faux lemons Wire (Floral wire is best, but we had this gold filament wire left from another project and it worked great!) Ribbon Wooden Letter Optional Wooden Frame Hot Glue *I found all of our supplies at our local Michaels. How to: 1. Start with long stems (snapdragons in this case) and position and attach to grapevine with wire 2. Fill in center with poppies and attach with wire 3. Thread wire through lemons and attach to grapevine 4. Make a bow with ribbon (see specifics below), tie off and attach to grapevine 5. Paint wooden letter (and frame, if you choose) and hot glue to grapevine. 6. Use left over ribbon to thread through top center of the wreath to hang, Easy, right? And such a fun and colorful way to greet guests! All of the supplies (given that I got the stems during a 50% off special) cost about $25 and it’s really so so easy to put together. Just in case you’re not much of the DIY type, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite bright and inexpensive wreaths here: < > YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE...On Preparing For GuestsDIY Agate Gift Card BoxDIY Play Kitchen REVEAL!
