Hi Friends! I have a super special + fun post today. It’s been almost 4 years since I put Landry’s girly and glam nursery together and, as most of you know, it’s been one of the most special rooms that I’ve ever designed. Her nursery is the room that’s responsible for making this blog a “thing” (this is the original “reveal” post) and little did I know that this one sweet room would also be responsible for countless connections, friendships, and, in the end, an entirely knew career that I never knew that I could be so passionate about. Gosh, isn’t God’s plan always so wonderful to look back on and see how everything was orchestrated so perfectly…even if it seemed really confusing and not so perfect as you were going through it?!?! Since I plan to reveal her BIG GIRL ROOM (see plans for it HERE) either later this week or early next week, I’m taking a look back today…
Ever since I published her nursery, it’s consistently been one of my top posts and some of the most pinned images on my entire blog…even 4 years later. Along with that came countless emails from readers about paint colors, decor details and even some super special emails that contained photos of nurseries that were designed with inspiration taken from Landry’s girly, glam space. I can’t tell you how special these were to me…you mean to tell me that you liked my design enough to use it in your own home? Flattered doesn’t even begin to cover it! Today, I’m sharing a few of these reader designs with you guys, and now I can hardly wait to show you the Big Girl Room Revel! First, let’s drool over these! Here’s a photo of Landry’s for reference:
My main design elements were: Floral Wallpaper (currently 20% off, which is unheard of!) | Trellis Rug | Pink Drapes | Jenny Lind Crib | Harper Bedding
This gorgeous version by Bonnie so so swoon worthy! I love how she used the glam chandelier (great price) and the roman shades (similar), along with the oversized script monogram (similar) painted gold. Another rug option is a plain white rug with lots of texture like she used here (similar), as it really brightens the space!
Other fun similar details to help achieve this look: Mirror above changing table | Linen Glider | Gold + Marble Side Table | Oversized Monogram | Blush Roman Shades | Chandelier
This version by Landyn is so perfect and has me seriously considering investing in bamboo blinds because I absolutely love the way that they look against the wallpaper. They really set it off to me and offset the girly-ness just a little. If you are putting your nursery together and are considering bamboo blinds, I really love this pecan color as an option against the watercolor paper.
Other fun similar details to help achieve this look: White Sheer Panels (obsessed with these ruffled ones) | Hairpin Stool | Nailhead Rocker | Makeup Vanity | Jenny Lind Crib
I adore this version by Nicole and if you think that the room is amazing, you should read part of her journey HERE…she’s beyond inspiring (and someone who I now call a virtual friend)! I love how she took the vintage glam in this space and ran with it, playing up the gold and girly details!

Nina is just about the sweetest girl ever and she’s here in Charlotte! She introduced herself to me mid-toddler-meltdown in Target and (once I collected my thoughts) I was so flattered that someone so stinkin’ cute not only read my blog, but she also used my nursery as inspo for her darling little gals space! She writes a blog too…check it out HERE.
