Two Versatile Sweaters That EVERY Mom Needs! January 11, 2017 | Goodmorning guys! I’ve been really excited to share today’s post with you because you’ve gone crazy over these versatile sweaters via Instagram and I’m thrilled to share more about them today! I always do a little happy dance in my head when I find pieces that I KNOW you’re going to love and find as useful as I do and when I came across these sweaters they definitely fit the bill. Both are convertible and can be worn either as a wrap sweater OR as a long cardigan and both come in well under $100. So, basically you get 4 tops for the price of 2 and you also get comfort, functionality, and a cute fit….I mean, what else could a girl want?? I’m wearing each one with the exact same base layers and accessories, so that you can see how the different ways to style each top totally change the look. You’ll want to wear these for everyday casual (errands, carpool), weekend wear (soccer games, grocery store), as a top layer when going to the gym, and even just around the house…both are SO cozy. Oh and mamas with babies, both are maternity approved and AMAZING nursing cover-ups!! So here ya go…two current favorite tops… Turn on your JavaScript to view content Heather Grey Convertible Sweater | Dark Grey Convertible Sweater My go-to Leggings | High Waisted Version (great for postpartum) | Maternity Support Tank | Sneakers | Cross Body Bag | Steel Water Bottle | Sunglasses The first one is this heather grey wrap cardigan. It’s about as soft as butter and really does feel like a blanket to wear…which is a total win in itself, right?!? But the real win is that it can be worn as a sweater or a cardigan, giving you both comfort and flexibility. It’s also a great length for leggings! The hubs and I promised each other no Christmas gifts this year, but he surprised me in my stocking with these super simple stud earrings and I love them so much. They aren’t anything fancy, but they add just a little sparkle and are great to wear with everyday casual outfits like this or even to the gym. It got me thinking that stud earrings aren’t so bad after all. Some other favorites for everyday wear are below (all under $50): Turn on your JavaScript to view content You guys know my love for a good S’well bottle! I have 3 that I rotate through and always have one with me whether in the gym, the car or just to keep my water extra cold at home. I was a little shocked when my pre-teen nieces went ga-ga over them while out shopping at Christmas though. Glad to know that they think how super cool they are, because they make pretty great gifts! See all of the cute colors and patterns HERE. Don’t you want to snuggle up in this guy??? I thought so! Here’s how it looks worn as a cardigan. The sides are long and have a more styled look (rather than a basic blunt cut cardigan), which I love. It easily drapes over the booty, making it great for leggings. Now, here’s how it works… There are small fabric covered snaps along each tail of the cardigan. Once you snap those together, you just twist and place the twisted hole over your head. Voila! Fit info: True to size overall, size down if you are between fits. Forgiving overall. Next up is this super cute dark grey convertible sweater! It’s made to have a little more structure than the previous sweater, which I think some of you might like. It’s also got functional details like thumb holes for wearing it in a more active setting. Another super cozy option that you will be reaching for everyday! I love that it doesn’t lack style, but is so super functional for moms on the go! I’ve been living in my Yankees baseball hat, which was a total impulse buy. My husband gets SO mad because he’s a huge Cardinals fan, but I keep telling him that I bought it for the aesthetics, not because I like baseball…duh. This brand has the cutest selection of washed and worn in baseball caps for you to throw on after the gym or for a day when you have too much dry shampoo in your hair to wear it any other way…ha! See all of them HERE. Here’s proof that there’s really a large bump under that sweater, even though the wrap front details on BOTH sweaters does an A+ job of covering it up! For you ladies who are also pregnant, I didn’t want to forget to talk about this tank that I’m wearing. It’s a tunic length maternity support and shaping tank and it’s no joke. No joke in the price (a little expensive at $72), but also no joke in the support that it offers. It smooths everything out and allows for some back relief due to the extra support that it gives the belly. I had been eyeing it for a while, so I asked for it for Christmas and this past week was my first time to wear it. If you don’t like really tight, shapewear, this isn’t for you…but if you ARE looking for a shaping base layer with some extra support…I think that this tank is totally worth the money! They also have leggings… Here’s how it works: There are two sets of snaps (both right at the hips). The interior set should be snapped first, with the fabric from the opposite side. Then cross over again and snap into the exterior snaps. Easy! Fit Info: True to size, you could size down if you are between sizes. The hips are the only place where you can really tell that there’s any sizing to it. Covers the tush (and I’m 5’9, so it will be even longer on most). Great for a nursing cover as well! So, there you have it…2 versatile tops that every busy mom needs!! Would you agree?? I also wanted to give you guys an awesome shopping tip that I have full adapted and am LOVING.
