Instagram Roundup | June: Part I

Hi Friends! How are you guys feeling this Monday am? I’m still relaxing in Louisiana, so I’m pretty chipper, but I hope that you guys are off to a great start this week and had a wonderful weekend. Have you been following along on Snap? I’m trying to give you guys some insight into what we are up to and also life down here. It’s much slower and it feels so good to be surrounded by familiar things. I swear not one thing has changed in my home town since I left. Here’s what’s been happening on Instagram over the past two weeks….

This is right before we headed out on a jet plane for Louisiana. I snuck in a very last minute balayage re-fresh (did you guys catch that on snap?? LOL) and I love the lighter look for Summer. If you Charlotte ladies aren’t going to Brooke at Flirt in Dilworth, you SHOULD be! She always nails my color! Also, I’m working on a pretty intense packing post detailing how I packed for two people for 12 days and only checked one bag, but in the meantime, this duffle bag is certainly a conversation piece. I swear at least 10 people stopped me in the airport to compliment about it.

This off the shoulder dress was a big hit on Instagram and also a big hit in my closet. You can wear it quite a few ways…straps on, strapless, off the shoulder, etc. It’s also $30, so yea that’s a win!

Charming Charlie just opened a store right down the road from me and I could not be more excited! They are so on point lately with their accessories and I’m certain that I will be a regular in there 🙂

This black off the shoulder top was one of the first things that I packed for Louisiana…easy to pack and can be dressed up or down for any occasion…most importantly…cool cotton for even the warmest of days.

I know that it’s probably obvious…but I’ve been LIVING in these comfy jogger pants. They are inexpensive and really easy to throw on with a tee or tank for a casual summer look. My favorite style tip is wearing them with a longer top and only tucking in the front.

Did you guys catch the snap story about this pecan orchard? I’ll likely share more about it later on here, but it was a fun day showing little bit around and also seeing the progress on my parents’ farmhouse remodel. It’s going to be GOOD. I wore the same little black dress to the orchard that I wore to our fancy anniversary dinner…so if that doesn’t scream VERSATILE…I’m not sure what does. Really, it’s a wonderful piece to have in my closet and packs SO well.
