Mood Board Monday: Golden Globes Edition

Hi Friends! How was your weekend?? If you’re following along on Insta or Snap, you know that we decided (on Friday, mind you) to head to the mountains for a short 24 hour getaway! It was such a wonderful “stay-cation” and I’d do it again in a heart beat. I will recap all of my favorites from the charming town of Blowing Rock this week!

Needless to say, we got home and I was exhausted! I put LK down early, poured some vino and promptly plopped myself down on the sofa to take in all of the Golden Globe Red Capet amazingness! Such great looks this year, I mean SWOON! I picked out a few of my favorite trends that I noticed and recapped them for you below…I also found tons of similar (and way less expensive) options for you guys to shop!

This emerald green plunge neck Ginny gown was my personal favorite. It reminds me of malachite and I absolutely adore the silhouette. Lots of plunging necklines continue to show up on the red carpet.

On the opposite end of that spectrum, there were also a ton of really high necklines, which is more of an emerging trend. I loved both of these gorgeous high neck white gowns….so feminine.

One trend thatI loved seeing was over-sized ruffle details. I love the feminine and flirty edge that they give a gown.

Blush (aka Rose Quartz if you ask Pantone) is huge for spring and it definitely showed up on the Red Carpet. Lots of embellished rose quartz gowns that were as stunning as they were girly.

I think that off the shoulder is going to continue to be huge for the Spring, and these celebs helped to seal the deal…tons of off the shoulder dresses on the Red Carpet tonight!
