Style Board Series: Volume 1 | Week 6 February 28, 2017 | Hi Friends! Welcome to another week of the Style Board Series! Before I get started, I wanted to say THANK YOU for all of the love on yesterday’s Disney post!!! It was such a fun post to write and I’m thrilled that you guys liked it enough to share with your friends and send such positive feedback. I really appreciate it! This week on the Style Board Series we are talking about another way to style my new favorite sneakers in a cool Athleisure look and also chatting about one of my favorite Spring combinations…chambray + white! I hope that you guys enjoy! Up first, I decided that these sneakers were worth styling again this week. I told you guys in last week’s Style Board that I was going to buy them and I did and got them in on Friday. To say that I am obsessed is an understatement. They are slip-on (all the mama’s #praise), lightweight and SO comfy. I styled them with these new patterned tights (still my go to style and fit, just a print to mix in) and this tunic that I ordered. The tunic is called “The Incredible Tee” because it’s lightweight and can be worn 3-4 ways (think as a tunic, front tucked, knotted in front, etc) and I’m so excited to give it a whirl. I love this laid back look and plan to live in it for the next few months! JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Lightweight Grey Tunic | Patterned Tights | No Show Socks | Nike Slip-on Shoes | Stud Earrings | Hat | Sports Bra My sneaks! The biggest questions that I got about them were: Do they run true to size? YES! I normally go up .5 size in Nike, but these fit in my true size which is a 9. Can you wear socks with them? Yes, I suggested a super low cut no-show pair above. Also, here are the patterned tights. I’m not normally a huge fan of prints on leggings, but these are a total exception for me. I love the watercolor print and this style always fits me so well. These are the high waisted fit, so I bought them for after baby is born. Next up, I’m styling one of my favorite things to wear for Spring…Chambray + White Denim! I posted this chambray tunic the other day and have been living in it. It’s long enough to wear with jeans OR leggings and does NOT wrinkle after a long day of wear (can I get an AMEN?!). I also gave a a great chambray button-up option depending on what length that you’re looking for. I also chose two options for two distressed white skinny jeans. Both have rave reviews, but you can decide which pair you want depending on your overall budget. Add a leopard skinny belt, a neutral wedge shoe and a blush hobo bag and you have a super chic, easy and cute transitional outfit. **P.S. I’m contemplating between these two neutral wedges. Which do you like better? Both have been super popular and now I’m torn. Want me to do a review on each pair? JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content. Chambray Tunic | Chambray Button-up | White Distressed Denim (Save Option $59) | White Distressed Denim (Splurge Option $178) | Nude Espadrille Wedge | Cutout Wedge | Lightweight Gold Earrings | Gold Layering Necklaces | Leopard Belt | Sunnies| Blush Hobo Bag | Nude Gloss Here’s the chambray tunic styled another way… Want more Style Board Inspiration? Cortney Watkins says February 28, 2017 at 12:49 PM The Nike’s are TO-DIE-FOR! Like you said above – so comfy! They are so light weight and I wish I could wear them every day/all the time! Sadly, they won’t look great in my corporate environment but after work on they go! Secondly, I just purchased the Marc Fisher wedges and they are so comfy! I haven’t tried on the other ones your posted and certainly think they are cute too! Would love for you to do a review on both pairs. Love your style Mallory!
Style Your Senses says March 1, 2017 at 9:56 AM hahaha girl I feel ya on the Nikes—I want to wear them 24/7! Also, I totally agree on the wedges! I tried the MF ones on in store and was really impressed with how they felt more like a “flatform” and less like a wedge…making them tons more comfy. I’m going to review both options soon! xoxox
