What’s Saving My Life These Days September 23, 2013 | Rounding up my current favorite baby products today! I would say these could potentially save your life starting at 4/5 months and we are still loving them now at 7+ months. Whatever it takes to keep them happy ladies, whatever it takes! One: My girl loves her jumperoo. Seriously, she’s a jumping machine. She looks like a little tap dancer the way she moves her feet around. I could watch her all day! Anywho, let’s talk about this a bit. She liked her Exersaucer but tended to get bored in it really really fast. So moving along we thought a jumper might occupy her time better. After reading tons of reviews (and trying out her friend Jay’s) we decided on this Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo. It’s got quite a bit of give to it so she can really go to town in it. I definitely think that it’s better than the Baby Einstein jumper one for that reason. Total.Life.Saver. Two: Take-N-Toss Dinnerwear. This bulk pack is awesome. I can thaw out LK’s food, pack it up and feed her while we are out. It’s BPA free and dishwasher safe, but I don’t feel terrible if I have to throw it away every now and then. Three: Stumbled upon this set of foam blocks at TJ Maxx and we are smitten. I build them up and LK ever so gently knocks them down. It’s so fun to watch her learn cause and effect. She also chews on them and the foam is so dense I have no worries about it breaking apart. Four: BabyGanics Foaming Shampoo and Body Wash. We struggled with cradle cap for a while and I finally narrowed it down to the Johnson and Johnson’s body wash we were using. Once we switched to this BabyGanics, it went away immediately. It’s so gentle and doesn’t have a heavy smell. Five: Mustela No Rinse Cleansing Fluid. This stuff is great to wipe off grimy faces or a little booty for a mid-day refresher. It’s gentle on baby skin and is super easy to wipe on with a cotton ball. Six: Target Up & Up Diapers. Okay, this was a BIG one for me. Of course, I started off with Pampers Swaddlers that were super fancy with the nice little blue line to tell you that the diaper was wet. And well, lets be completely honest, the line STAYS blue and soon enough you are able to judge when your little one actually needs a diaper change anyway, right? And even though I was using the “best” diapers I was still struggling with ahem…blow-outs. eck. Quite a few mommas recommended the Target brand…and after trying Huggies as well…I finally broke down. I even saw a veteran mommy (you know the ones with two toddlers in the cart and a baby in a carrier who somehow still manages to look calm, cool, and collected and you’re over there with just one looking like a hot mess?!) who had a whole bunch in her cart, so I asked her opinion. She had great things to say about them that completely echoed what I had heard before. Done. I LOVE them. No leaks. No plastic-y feel. Almost HALF the price. WOW. Seven: Books with sound. We especially love Eric Carle. The sounds truly capture her attention and she is learning to point and press each one…so fun! Eight: Bob Revolution Jogger. Now that the weather is finally cooling off and LK can ride frontwards like a big girl we are hitting the pavement again. The BOB has been such a great jogger…can’t say enough good things about it in that regard. I will say that we are attempting to use it as our everyday stroller to and its a little much to get in and out of the car. So I will update you guys on what we decide here. So what do you think? What’s saving your life these days? Please fill me in if there’s something amazing that I need to know about! Happy Monday!
