What We Wore: A Collaboration With Dress Your Guests (+ our minis!) October 29, 2014 | I met Kate a few months back here in Charlotte. We met for wine and I knew right away we’d be fast friends. She left behind a career in buying to move here for her husbands job, all the while having sweet Isabella amongst it all. As if she wasn’t busy enough, she came up with the coolest concept and brought it to life through Dress Your Guests. DYG is an online “dressing room” for you and your party guests where you can chat about the event and outfit plans, solving the age old question of “what are you wearing?” Genius, right?! After our first meeting, we knew that collaborating on something was a great fit and since we have to adorable little gals, we thought that sharing some “mom style” with you and incorporating the girls would be so much fun. Isabella (who turns one this week) was such a doll baby and reminded me of how sweet Landry used to be. LK on the other hand, was having no part of the shoot, which make the photos realistic to me. Being a mom is hard work, but having your makeup done and taking the day on with a cute outfit and a smile always make it easier in my book.
