What We Wore // Bold Pattern + Bright Color July 23, 2014 | Hi friends! Sorry for the radio silence, it’s been so busy around here…and I will explain that in a few days! Meanwhile, we got all dressed up for dinner this weekend and are excited to share these bright, patterned, and fun outfits with you! There’s nothing I love more than a good bold pattern mixed with a bright color and topped off with some fun jewelry…until you put ALL of those things on an adorable 17 month old…and then I can’t even handle it! When I saw LK’s little get-up at Target, I couldn’t get it into the cart fast enough…doesn’t the print on her little shorts look so Trina Turk -esque? Pair that with a baby peplum and gold gladiators and this girl was ready to go. Literally. She we ran the entire time. She couldn’t be stopped. Once she figured out that she can make her legs move faster than just walking, that’s all she wants to do. My outfit is made of a two old J. Crew Factory favs (both from last year, but pieces that easily carry-over). I wear this gingham shirt all of the time and they still carry it, definitely a piece you need if you don’t have it already and perfect for layering under sweaters in the Fall. The A-line shirt is always pretty flattering and is also cute with a simple white tank and flip flops. I topped the skirt/shirt combo off with some fun (and cheap!) new accessories. The necklace (that I’ve mentioned multiple times on Instagram) is from Wal-Mart (!!) and the shoes were a total score from Ross for $18! So what do you think….how do you feel about bold patterns + bright colors? I can’t stop. Won’t stop. Shop Me: Gingham Shirt: J. Crew Factory Skirt: J.
