What to Wear to a Casual Holiday Party

With only 12 days (GASP!) left of the Holiday season, I will venture to say that these 12 days will be some of the busiest of your entire year. I put together some outfit inspiration today to make getting dressed a little easier and am sharing what I would wear to a casual Christmas party. Not the kind that requires a cocktail dress or black tie gown, the kind with friends that’s casual yet festive…you know when you never really want to wear jeans and want an outfit just a step dressier than that? Okay, I’ve got you covered…what to wear to a casual Holiday Party!

p.s.- if you live by a Nordstrom, most of the items here are available for in-store pickup meaning you can buy them online and they will be waiting for you at their little pickup station right when you walk in the door in about an hour. It’s the only way I’ve been shopping lately if I don’t want to wait on shipping. I went with a tunic sweater that has a darling collar embellished with pearls making it super festive and also appropriate in length to wear with leggings. To dress it up even more, I paired it with my faux leather moto leggings and some statement earrings for a look that’s comfortable and Holiday party appropriate!

I’ve been getting lots of hair questions lately and I thought I’d share some products I use for curls here:

Heat Styling Protectant | Powder Volumizer / Texturizer | Teasing Brush | Curling Wand

*Tip: I buy the extra long barrel iron for my long hair and am able to get heat to the entire strand…makes a ton of difference! Also, to make any “curling iron” a “curling wand,” simply un-screw and remove the clip. I much prefer a wand for tousled curls. 

Can we talk about this bump?? Oh man, HERE WE GO!
