What I Wore: Boyfriend Flannel + Glam October 17, 2014 | In a perfect world, I would live in my hubby’s over-sized, worn in flannel shirts. I may or may not even shamelessly throw them on with a pair of tights and boots to run errands…eeeek! When I saw this boyfriend flannel shirt in the Women’s dept at Old Navy, I knew that she had to be mine. It’s has a relaxed, loose fit, but the length and overall cut are much more appropriate for a woman than any mans shirt. And, of course, you all know I am a sucker for a bold buffalo check. I threw it on with my favorite new grey skinnies (which I am obsessed with for Fall, and are helping me gracefully transition out of my white jeans), but thought that it was missing a little glam. I added a fun bib necklace, some gold hoops and threw on my favorite crossbody and booties. It was such a fun outfit for a day of bouncing, and even though the shirt is a definite relaxed boyfriend fit, I love the idea of playing it up with some glam accessories. A great (and inexpensive) piece to add to your casual line-up this Fall! This little photo bomber insisted on having her picture taken. She was literally standing at my feet the entire time saying “cheeeeeese!!” That girl. I love her so. And that last pic might be one of my favs ever of us. Shop: Boyfriend Flannel: Old Navy Denim: J Brand, option 2 Booties: Nordstrom, option 2 Cross-body Bag: Tory Burch, option 2 Earrings: gorjana, option 2 Necklace: Old. Similar.
