What I Want For Fall: Bottoms August 27, 2013 | Happy Monday Ya’ll! Did you have a good weekend?? We actually had a super busy, fun weekend here in CLT and I can say I loved being on the go. We kicked off football season at an SEC tailgate, I had a 6mo photo session with an aH-dorable baby girl, we ate Mexican, listened to live music, made church (ON TIME I might add), and finished off with a mommy group swim party. So much fun! So there are only a few more posts left for What I Want For Fall….are they getting you guys in the mood for cooler weather?! So, I must say, my taste in bottoms this season has probably been the most drastic change and will require the most newness. I have been living in dark skinnies for a few years now and I can definitely say, I’m welcoming the newness with open arms! New washes, new (printed) neutrals, higher waists, and leather…yum yum yum! Which trend are you trying out?! Shop: 1. Rag and Bone High Waisted Skinny. I swear if I hear one more good thing about these jeans! So many friends and bloggers love them so I must try. I am loving the higher waist and many rave about how great they make your derriere look…perfect, I need all the help that I can get. They will be one of my “splurges” for the season. 2. Old Navy Rockstar Skinny I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….these are the best darn jeans. Period. I swear I have them in 6 washes/colors and they are all flattering. Try on a few sizes as I have found that different washes fit differently but are all flattering nonetheless. I dove into the light wash trend and instead of spending a lot (as I was a little skeptical) chose to be thrifty here as they are only $25! I’ve already worn them and was pleasantly surprised as to how much I liked them! 3. GAP Always Skinny Camo Pants: I LOVE Camo for Fall. I am so excited about the trend and decided that these were the first piece I’d buy. They are a cute fit and are perfect for all of my black Fall tees/tops. Camo print is truly a neutral for Fall…throw it on with fun colors and even a hint of a fun print (loving it mixed with bits of leopard) 4. J. Crew Pixie Pant in Tuxedo Stripe Leather: While I won’t be going with full on leather pants…Lawwd Jesus that’s a scary thought…these from J. Crew are a fun take on the trend. On the opposite end of the spectrum…I am also loving the double flare denim that’s making a comeback. I have an amazing pair of Seven’s that are almost identical to the below that I plan to get a ton of wear out of this season. Next up, shoes…oh la la!
