What do you get an (almost) ONE year old?? December 4, 2013 | Okay, here’s the beginning of my wish list series and I chose LK’s first on purpose…because I need HELP, people! Honestly, I’m at a loss. There are so many big, plastic, noise making gadgets out there and I have no idea what to choose and I surely don’t want a bunch of them coming to live with us if they are not legit. LK is at a really fun age but it’s also kind of awkward…she needs not one more article of clothing. NOT.ONE. she’s not walking but she’s definitely finding any and every way to explore her surroundings. She’s likes to be entertained but would rather entertain herself. Oh and she loves music and making noise…girl has got a lot to say. See what I mean…awkward? Tell me, mama’s, what are your “must have” toys for this age?? Here are a few things that I have done my research on and have been purchased for her. See below for some questions that you may be able to help me with… Radio Flyer 4-1 Folding Trike.Melisa and Doug Wooden GroceriesJoy Folie Rosie LoaferWooden Band in a BoxLaugh and Learn PuppyStroll Along WalkerLand of Nod Playhome Canopy (haven’t bought this yet as I wanted to try a DIY teepee but isn’t this even cuter for the price?!)Minnetonka Baby Fringe MocksPBK Anywhere Chair She also scored these….don’t you just die?! Okay now the hard part…. Does she need some sort of activity table? I think that we are doing a big kitchen for her birthday…but this one is cute for the meantime? She loves her little mini farm and carries the animals around with her everywhere…does anyone have this bigger one? Worth all of the crazy annoying noises? Can’t wait to hear your favs…I feel like I’m totally missing something cool? Happy Shopping!
Brooke Tolly says December 4, 2013 at 1:59 PM I think she would love that stroller! We got my daughter #4 and she barely played with it even though it's so cute and such a good idea. I also wish the Disney Princess Little People Castle was out when she was younger.. it's so cute!

MamatoJackson says December 4, 2013 at 2:14 PM What about a shopping cart? They always seem to be a hit in the toy store, even with Jackson at this age. He's getting one of those big kitchens for Christmas, and if you're planning to get her one, she would probably LOVE having a shopping cart to go shopping with 🙂 Another small item, I know, lol!

Elisa of Fancy Free Me says December 5, 2013 at 9:16 PM What a great round up. I think all those things are perfect. I love the tricycles with the push bars. I just got my daughter a regular tricycle and now i'm doomed to push her around all hunched over until she can figure out how to pedal. And that little kitchen is beyond fab, i think its perfect for a 1 year old.
