Versatile Fall Shift Dress and A Weekend Event!

Some outfits I get really really excited to share…and this is one of them! You guys know that I love a good versatile dress and this little number can be worn SO many different ways, which is why I’m so excited to share it with you guys. It’s a great silhouette that’s easy to wear, has on-trend style details and can be dressed up or down by simply switching out a few accessories…a total winner by my standards. I chose to style this dress a bit more “dressed up” for you guys because I had these fab boots that I wanted to wear 😉 You could also switch out these boots and go for an over the knee black suede boot or even a grey suede heel to maintain the more dressy vibe.

Not much has changed since last Fall regarding my opinion about a good trench vest. They are so versatile and a great layering piece to add depth and style to nearly any look as the weather cools. I love them with swing dresses like this one or cute skinny jeans and a long sleeve top.

How good is this print?? I love that it mixes greys, blacks and that really on-trend reddish pink. Makes for so many options for accessories to pair back to it. The tie neck is definitely my favorite though. It’s so cute tied in an actual bow or worn long like this for a cleaner look.

These boots though…mid calf black suede WITH a tassel…do we even need to discuss further?? To.Die.For!

Other ways to wear this dress:

-Switch out the trench vest for a faux fur vest to add some texture. Grey of black would be gorgeous.

-Add black tights as the weather cools.

-Dressed down with a denim jacket and black booties or riding boots.

-Throw a black sweater over it and let the dress serve as a skirt.
