The Ultimate Gift Guide for Parents and In-Laws! November 16, 2019 | Good Morning and Happy Saturday!!! Coming at ya with another Gift Guide and this is the first one I’ve ever done that’s specifically curated with finds for parents and in-laws. These groups seem to come up as some of the hardest to shop for mainly because they can afford to buy most of what they need and have accumulated quite a bit of stuff, making it hard to find a unique gift to WOW them. I spent quite a bit of time on this Gift Guide, thinking about nice pieces that are actually useful and also fun to gift. I hope that this is helpful and makes your Holiday shopping just a little easier. The Ultimate Gift Guide for Parents and In-Laws! For Her: One | Leopard Slip-on Sneaker These slip on sneakers are so perfect for the mature lady. Not only are they SO easy to get on but they get her in on the sneaker trend, in a cute leopard print, without all the fuss—offering comfort and style all wrapped in a cute gift! Two | Cozy Lounge Pant These truly are the ULTIMATE gift. Hoping they don’t read this, but I plan to get these for my mom and sister for Christmas. Both love being cozy and these pants by Barefoot Dreams offer the most luxe lounge pant on the market. I was able to find a great dupe for their cardigan (see THIS post), but haven’t been able to find anything that really compared to these pants, making them worth the splurge in my book. If you want something along the same lines, at a lesser price though–these lounge pants have a similar look. Three | Luxe PJ Set These are a GREAT gift for moms and mother in laws. A breathable and luxuriously soft set of sophisticated pajamas make a timeless gift that she’ll actually use. I’ve been wearing these for years and they continue to get amazing reviews. This brand also makes a comparable PJ set (exact same material) at a great price, but the prints just aren’t quite as outstanding. Four | Kate Spade Gemstone Studs These gemstone studs look so expensive, yet are under $50! They come in 5 stones and with it you also get the luxe looking Kate Spade packaging. Gifting them will feel like you spent much more than you actually did and they are a beautiful piece to add into her jewelry rotation. Five | La Mer Gift Set For the mom or MIL that hesitates to spend money on luxurious skincare, this Ls Mer gift set is a great introduction to it and will be such a treat for her! Great for travel and something that she will really value if she doesn’t splurge on it already. Six | Silk Pillowcase This is a must!!! As we age, it’s so important to take into account a sleep beauty routine as part of our anti-aging process. It’s so key to keep on your back (a weighted blanket helps a ton, I have THIS ONE) and also to sleep on silk to lessen hair tangling, and wrinkles if you should turn to your side. I have an love this pillowcase and think that it’s such a luxurious gift that actually serves a purpose! Seven | iPhone Cross Body This is probably one of my favorites on the guide! I’ve seen these on quite a few ladies wearing them lately and I LOVE THE IDEA! It’s a durable phone case also has a super chic cross body strap and card slots, allowing you to be completely hands free at any point. Simply clip your keys on to it and, for the most part, you eliminate your need for a handbag. I think that any mom or MIL would find this to be a fab idea! Eight | Milk Frother I love this thing! Make yummy lattes with any sort of milk in this thing. It eliminates the investment in a fancy all in one coffee maker, but gives you the same end product. Nine | Ice Roller A cute stocking stuffer that she didn’t even know she needed! This ice roller will make you WANT to get up in the morning and roll your face with the cooling roller. It decreases puffiness and increases circulation—which is such a win. Also, a steal on Amazon! Ten | Louis Vuitton Apple Watch Band Update her apple watch with these bands made from designer canvas. These are made from upcycled Louis Vuitton canvas and totally elevate the look of the Apple Watch. Eleven | Jewelry Cleaner I have this thing and WOW it works so well! I’ve shown before and afters on my Instastories before and cannot get over how well it works. I use it for rings, bracelets and even my eye glasses. I’m not a proponent of too many gadgets, but this one is worth it for sure. Twelve | Laser Engraved Cutting Board Is this not beautiful??? A great way to document and preserve family recipes and the handwriting of loved ones. These are so special and the BEST gifts, that are sure to be heartfelt and special. For Him: One | Wooden Watch Dan’s had this watch for years and I swear he still gets stopped about it. The wooden look is so different and eye catching and it’s great for more casual days. I can see lots of dads and father-in-laws finding this a cool gift! Two | Back and Neck Massager Ok I have this too and really love it. I keep it in the living room and when I sit down on the sofa to work at night have it on my shoulders then lower back. It really does a good job of keeping the tension out of your main muscle groups and I think it’s the perfect gift for guys too. Three | Sous Vide with Smart Phone Sync Guys love sous vides! This one syncs with your iPhone, making the whole process fun for guys who love tech and also serves up delicious, nearly no-fail food for guys who love to cook and entertain. If he does’t have one yet, sous vides make such good gifts. Four | Personalized Mug If you’ve seen my stories lately, you know my obsession with my new personalized mug! I love waking up to the girls’ faces with my morning cup of coffee—these make a no-fail gift for any grandparents. Five | Coffee + Espresso Machine If he likes designer coffee and lots of versatility, this all in one machine really is a great value. Much less than a Nespresso and does virtually the same thing! Six | Casual/Dressy Sneakers Take your Dad or FIL to the next level of casual with this super cool and stylish sneakers. They are still sophisticated and polished, but offer comfort and ease of wear. They’re also a gift that he may not have bought himself, yet will get a ton of wear out of. Seven | iPhone + Card Case This iPhone case is pretty next level and has a patented design that serves as a wallet and kickstand as well as a super functional and durable phone case. Eight | Ancestry.com Set I really want my parents to take this because they actually have more time to deep dive into the results!! Nine | Peter Millar Golf Shirt These are hands down our favorite golf shirts. They are insanely soft, super durable (Dan’s had a few for 4+ years now) and really give a polished look that can be dressed up a little too. Ten | Apple Products Bamboo Charging Dock Isn’t this fun?? If you dad is an Apple device guy, this charging station is not only pretty but it’s also SO functional to charge everything at once. Get it for his office or bedside and eliminate the look of cords and devices strewn everywhere. Eleven | Packable Travel Bag (that also slips onto a carryon) Y’ALL THIS BAG IS SO COOL! Not only is it packable (meaning it folds compactly into itself), but it also has a back panel that easily slides onto a carryon-suitcase. It’s lightweight, functional and perfect for the guy who’s on the go but appreciates functionality! I hope that this made your Holiday shopping just a little easier!
