The One Room Challenge: Week Two

Here we are at Week Two of the One Room Challenge. Soooo about that….I don’t really have a substantial update…it’s a little bit of a problem. In my defense, I am still waiting for the bigger elements to arrive so that I can get my hands dirty. On Saturday my little amigo and I decided to venture outside of the city limits and headed to antique mall that I’ve been hearing lots of buzz about. Needless to say our time there was limited to how many Golden Grahams were in her snack container…and that day it was 30 minutes max. Half way through I laid eyes on the below bamboo mirror and I knew we were meant to be. It needs a new coat of paint (as the bahama blue doesn’t really jam with what I’m going for), but overall it’s going to be PERFECT for the space and really bring the eye up and make the small space feel larger.

I’ve also been scheming and plotting as to how I can lay my paws on these Leotine Linens hand towels….

If the hand towel goddesses are listening…the pink or orange would work so perfect in this space!
P.S. Did you guys see that Leotine is part of the Neiman’s Christmas Catalogue. Um an entire home outfitted in monogrammed Leotine Linens and a personal consultation with Jane Scott…I swear I’d take that over the Maserati also in there. Now let’s figure out the $55k price tag, shall we?
Back in real life, I like both of these Etsy options and will go with one of them in a bright pink or orange thread. Whats your vote? A. or B. 

I’m also doing some major lighting scheming…and if all goes as planned…the sconce situation will look nothing like the mood board and be better than I could have imagined!

    A. The boldness of the font will offset the floral wallpaper. The other monogram isn't as elaborate as the script on the LL ones, so I think it would fall flat in that space… Esp since it's such a small space to begin with.
