The Friday Edit

Hi Friends! How was your week? Coming back to the real world was not so fun after vacation, but my mom coming to visit softened the blow a little. This is my last full week of being a little spacey on the blog and next week it’s back to school for little bit and back to work full time for mama. I cannot wait to share all of my content for September…I have SO many style guides, trend reports and Fall fashion posts lined up, so hold off on your Fall purchases for just a few more days!! While my Instagram game was definitely slow this week, this $14.99 tank was definitely the winner! I love the color (obviously, it’s all I’ve been wearing) and the shape is super cute. I paired it with shorts for now, but love it with jeans and a cardigan later as well!

Ya’ll I got this new watch and I’m kind of obsessing. My other gold watch is from 8 years ago and it was actually Dan’s first ever gift to me…for our 6 month dating anniversary….LOL! It was definitely time for an upgrade and I’m still dying over this new this Marc Jacobs beauty that I chose. It has an emerald green face and love it paired with the gold. If you are in the market for a new watch…definitely give this one some consideration!

I saw this little cross front top in Nordstrom today and the sales gal said that they had been SO popular so I ended up having to come home and order my size. I love the cross front because I almost always do a front half tuck and this saves me the trouble. It is also longer in the back which makes it just ideal in my book…not to mention it’s as soft as butter! I went back and fourth between this mossy green color and the maroon but ended up going for the green. Since it’s only $29, technically I shouldn’t feel guilty about buying BOTH colors. So this week, I went on the hunt for a long lasting neutral lip for Fall! I stumbled upon Smashbox’s “Always on My Mind Matte” lipgloss. Now the trick is that it goes on like a glass and dries like a creamy matte…and IT LASTS. I got 5 solid hours of wear without having to reapply or feeling like my lips were going to dry off.
