Can I be honest? I hadn’t realized how long it had been since I posted home inspiration. Honestly, it had been months and I had no idea. I love home decor, but I simply don’t have any current home projects to share, so I let it fall to the back burner a bit. I know that some of you started following along when home decor was ALL that I was writing about, so I would never want to neglect that, especially since I love it so much. All of that said, I will certainly be writing more consistently about home decor inspiration that I’m loving and really appreciate you guys still being receptive to it! This week’s post was about a trend I’m loving: Shiplap Glam! I gave tips on taking traditionally rustic shiplap and making it more glam to fit within any decor style. See the post HERE.

This jammie selfie (lol) was definitely the top Insta of the week! Lots of love for these cozy and most COMFY jams that are a part of the #NSALE! They are honestly the softest pajamas that I own and I promise that I would not steer you wrong in this category…I’m a stickler for comfy nite nite clothes. I love these obviously for myself, but also bought them as Christmas gifts and for a new mom! This pink pair has since sold out, but they still have great basic colors in stock and I love the black and white option.

While in NYC this week, I stayed at The Refinery Hotel in midtown and it was so so cool. Think understated chic with some very unexpected glam details. My favorite part of the room was certainly the gorgeous while marble shower with stately brass hardware and trim. I loved it so much that I took to Pinterest in the airport to find a similar inspiration aesthetic. Thankfully designer Katie Martinez read my mind, because her Oakland Bath project is what my current dream bathroom looks like! See it all HERE.

With this heat, not many things sound really good to eat, especially warm things. Since Landry is loving everything peaches (as do I!), I’m going to try this for a lite dinner or a late snack this weekend. We all love goat cheese and she’s been helping me grow our basil, so I’m hoping she likes it. See the recipe HERE.

Can we please talk about THIS DRESS???? Oh-em-gee! Loving the print, the details, the length and THE PRICE! I don’t have any late summer events or weddings to attend, but if I did, I would wear this dress…

I love you guys and all, but I totally ordered these leopard print lace up flats for myself before I shared them! I literally got a little weak in the knees when I saw them and then squealed when I saw that they were only $69! You might remember that this similar pair is on Anniversary Sale…which are great too…but when I saw this new pair I have to admit I like them more! They remind me of the $300+ pair of Loeffler Randall lace up flats!

If you were tuned into Instagram last night, you have seen that my flight back to Charlotte was cancelled and I spent last night in the city. So heartbreaking, especially when I want nothing more than to have my little sidekick back in my arms. I miss her so much that I actually feel my heart hurting. It never gets easier to leave her…

Hopefully I will be home at some point today and in the meantime, I know that Daddy is enjoying the one on one time as he just sent me a text that they are starting their day with a pancake breakfast and then hitting the park. #bestillmyheart
