Black + White Stripe Jumpsuit

This weekend I spent quite a bit of time cleaning out closets. I was starting to feel a little overwhelmed by the amount of clothes piling up and that’s mainly because I don’t clean out my closet often enough. I went through and used the trusty rule of if I hadn’t worn it in over a year and it wasn’t “classic” enough to serve as a staple piece, then it needed a new home. I made a huge donation to The Salvation Army and man did it ever feel good!!

There’s something about starting off a new season with a clean and well-edited closet that’s just so refreshing….just like this jumpsuit. We all know crisp and clean black and white is a huge trend for the season and I love that this jumpsuit  from Forever 21 is a little playful by design, but overall pretty neutral. The vertical stripes make it slimming and the off-the-shoulder detail is so fun for summer. I scored it a few weekends back (for under $23!) while shopping at Concord Mills. If you guys are local to Charlotte and haven’t been lately, I was so pleasantly surprised at their selection! I actually had 4 hours to shop alone (hallelujah!) and found so many fun and on-trend pieces for Spring…make sure to add a trip to Concord Mills to your Spring to-do list, it was totally worth it!
