Spring Home Tour! March 23, 2016 | Hi Friends! Sharing a first peek at how we’ve made a few little tweaks to brighten up our home for Spring. Even though I don’t go overboard for Spring, when Marty of A Stroll Thru Life invites you to be a part of her fabulous home tour series…you promptly get to sprucing up! I’m sharing the full tour line up at the end of this post, I promise you’ll want to start at the beginning, there are some fabulous tours + ideas! If you’re to Style Your Senses, learn more about me HERE and get a feel for our home HERE. Regardless, I hope that you’ll stay a while…so come on in! We recently repainted our door with Modern Masters: “Peaceful” Front Door Paint and we are really loving the rich blue color. It adds the perfect amount of punch from the street and I’m enjoying playing that up with our Spring wreath and planters. This wreath was an impulse buy at At Home and I love how it stands out against the door. I brought the same colors down and used them in the planters as well. Like I mentioned, I really only focus on a few areas for Spring. For us, that includes our front door, entryway, front room & bar cart. This Spring, I find myself gravitating towards all things blue. Obvious from our newly painted door, but I also carried blue through to our front room. I lightened this room up and stuck with only blue and white, even for my fresh flowers. It really plays up the natural light in here and is so fresh and airy for Spring. I cut some of our bradford pear blooms and they were the perfect airy and wiry blossoms for my ginger jars. I love keeping my bar cart current with the seasons. I brightened it up with fresh limes and lemons and mixers. Here are the simple details of our entryway…. Our REALLY big project for Spring has been this shared Office + Playroom space that I shared in THIS POST on Monday! We turned our Media Room into a fun and functional space that I could realistically share with my daughter and we love it! Next up is working on our deck! Replanting, re-working and adding a few new pieces for seating…I can’t wait. Here’s what it looked like last Spring… { Full post HERE } Thank you SO much for hanging out with us today, I hope that you’ll come back soon. Now head to over to visit Christy at Our Southern Home!
