Rachel Pally Maxi Perfection!

It’s no secret that I’m a huge Rachel Pally fan, the fabric is soft beyond compare and the silhouettes are always flattering. So it was no surprise that when I got this new maxi for Fall in, it was love at first sight. The top is fitted and flattering with a flirty keyhole that you can leave exposed or wear a coordinating bandeau underneath. I layered mine with my fav denim jacket and I love this look for a daytime brunch with flats or a casual date night with heeled boots. Also fun with a cropped sweater layered on top as the weather cools off…there are lots of colors as well, all linked below.

The answer is you won’t ever have a perfect balance. The good stuff lies in the grace of knowing that you CAN be fulfilled by both simultaneously, but you’ll never be 100% at both on the same day. It comes in waves and seasons, in hills and valleys. It’s a constant seesaw. It’s okay to settle into the imperfect and claim victory on the mountains but know that you are still a great mom + business woman in the valleys. If your inbox goes unchecked while you’re out at the pool with your kids- that’s ok. If you feed your kids Chick-fil-A for 3 days straight as you celebrate record sales at your business l- that’s ok too.
