To me plaid and pumpkins are synonymous with Fall. There’s something about a cozy flannel plaid that just says Autumn, right? I paired this really adorable and incredibly inexpensive boyfriend plaid top with my favorite skinnies and lace up flats for a relaxed weekend look, perfect for picking pumpkins. It’s laid back, not too fussy, but still has personality…my ideal weekend outfit.

It comes in waves and seasons, in hills and valleys. It’s a constant seesaw. It’s okay to settle into the imperfect and claim victory on the mountains but know that you are still a great mom + business woman in the valleys. If your inbox goes unchecked while you’re out at the pool with your kids- that’s ok. If you feed your kids Chick-fil-A for 3 days straight as you celebrate record sales at your business l- that’s ok too.
