One Skirt Worn 4 Ways for Summer! June 18, 2019 | I’m SO excited to share today’s post! Every now and then I find a piece that really works into my closet in a big way and I think that you guys will like this one as much as I do. Next week we leave for the beach and I’ve got effective packing on my mind and when I came across this white tiered skirt, I knew that it could really help to make packing easier. Once I started creating outfits with it, I couldn’t stop. It’s so so versatile, easy to wear and really looks darling styled so many ways! Here are the 4 outfits (all from Nordstrom) that I’m creating with it and packing for our beach trip next week. The combinations are really limitless and I’m certain you’d love how functional it is in your Summer closet! One Skirt 4 Ways for Summer: Throughout the post you’ll noticed that I’m wearing quite a few staples with the different outfit combinations, which also makes packing much easier. Here are some of my favorite staples: Denim Jacket (S) | Wedges | Sandals | Sunnies ($16) | Hat | Earrings One Skirt 4 Ways for Summer | Patriotic If you’re heading out of town for July 4th, this is such a cute combination! I knotted up this graphic tee and paired it with the white skirt, denim jacket and my favorite wedges. I absolutely love this look for a casual Fourth of July celebration! Stars and Stripes Tee (S) Similar Tee | Denim Jacket (S)| White Skirt (S) | Hat | Wedges | Sunnies ($16) | Earrings | Clutch Fit details: The skirt runs TTS, if not a touch big. I’m wearing the small here, but could have also worn the XS. I appreciate the little bit of extra length from the small. Other cute July 4th graphic tees from 1901 at Nordstrom: One Skirt 4 Ways for Summer | Boho Chic For this look I paired the skirt with my absolute favorite tank and the cutest Summer scarf for a layered look that’s still easy to wear. Add a hat and your favorite sandals and you have a super chic warm weather outfit that’s still functional and affordable. Black Tank (S) | White Skirt (S) | Hat | Scarf | Earrings | Sandals | Bag | Earrings Doesn’t this combination make the skirt feel completely different?? You could also throw the denim jacket on over it for a layered look or travel day. One Skirt 4 Ways for Summer | Casual + Cool I couldn’t resist pairing it with one of my favorite graphic tees and some punchy accessories. I would totally wear this for a casual weekend dinner, an evening at the beach or even with flip flops for a casual Saturday. To me this outfit screams comfortable and cool, which is always a win! Graphic Tee (Similar Graphic Tee) | White Skirt (S) | Wedges | Denim Jacket (S) | Panama Hat $22 | Earrings | Sunnies ($16) PS: Nordstrom has the best selection of sunglasses (including the ones I’m wearing below) for under $20! Here are some of my favorites! One Skirt 4 Ways for Summer | Travel Style Here I paired the skirt with a striped racerback tank, my go-to denim jacket and easy sandals for a travel day look. The combo easily takes you from the airport to your destination in style and comfort and that’s music to my ears. To get this look, I knotted the tank at back. Stripe Tank (wearing a S, would prefer XS) | Denim Jacket (S) | White Skirt (S) | Sandals | Earrings | Sunnies | Weekender Bag If you need a weekender bag, don’t miss THIS ONE! It’s an amazing price and is SO functional. I’ve had it for years and it really does do the job. I hope that you’ve been able to see just how functional this white skirt could be in your closet. Everything I’ve worn in this post could easily fit into a weekender bag and you have 4 very different and adorable outfits to choose from. Also, if you really don’t love wearing white jeans in the Summer, this skirt is a great alternative. It still pairs well with all of the tops that you’d want to wear white jeans with and is a much easier fit. Hoping you loved today’s post as much as I loved putting it together. Jessica Brown says June 19, 2019 at 12:44 AM It is really frustrating when you continue to show images of pieces that are sold out. Please take a different pic or choose pieces that aren’t limited in quality. Sub par bloggers post images of clothing that is already sold out. This is your job, do better.
Style Your Senses says June 19, 2019 at 7:22 AM Hi Jessica! Wow- you seem really kind! Thank you for this feedback 🙂 Unfortunately, I cannot control the inventory that Nordstrom buys. I also have to buy the product, photograph it, have those photographs edited and then create the post. The process takes over a week and in that time some items do sell out. You’ll also notice that I always link similar products when that happens. Overall, I think that it might be best for you to only follow “elite bloggers” though 😉 Have a great day! xoxox
