One Room Challenge- Week FIVE October 31, 2013 | Well, here we are with only one week left and here I am with a half finished room. We all knew this is how it would go, right? Catch up on how I managed to find myself in this predicament here. here. here. and here. Coffee. and wine. and bribing people to help me…that’s what my next seven days is going to consist of. Shiz is about to get real people. This week was much less productive than I would have hoped. My gal is still icky and let’s talk about how she’s cut 5 teeth over the past week. Is that some sort of sick, cruel joke? Not okay. So, no sleep on top of no sleep is what all of that equals. Anywho, check out what we DID manage to get done…. The cornice box was assembled. Lined the check in red trim. She needs to be hung. Headboard hung. Love her. The red guys are staying but I am working on a long oversized lumbar in the cornice fabric (with some funky bright green trim) to tie everything back together. Added trim and tassels to the plain, boring IKEA pendants. ((Remember the tassel tutorial from this post??))And finished my little art project. Don’t you just love that saying..”Let them be little” ?? When everything is a total wreck, but we are having a ball playing I think that will be the perfect reminder of what the play space is for. Ta-dah. Although the bedding is not right here’s a sneaky of what it will look like. Lady Antelope (or deer? bull? I have no idea) is scotch taped to the wall in this one…how’s that for keeping is classy?!
