One Cardigan Two Ways With Sole Society

Today I’m partnering with Sole Society to chat about a good cardigan and how to make it work overtime in your closet! The cozy cardigan trend is going full steam ahead and I’m not going to lie…I’m pretty happy about it! Cardigans function SO well for me during this phase of my life…they can be worn for lounging around the house, running errands around town, jazzed up a little for a brunch or day out shopping and even taken to the next level for a cozy date night…that’s what we call a win, my friends.

You guys know by now that Sole Society has become a go-to of mine for nearly anything fashion related (you guys seem to love them too, especially THESE OTK boots!) and their selection of cardigans certainly doesn’t disappoint. I decided to nab this powder blue beauty and show you how truly versatile it can be in your closet. Here we go….from day time to date night.

I don’t own a ton in this color, but it was welcomed to the crew with open arms. I’ve found that it pairs really well with all neutrals (black and brown alike), which is great news. It’s more of a tunic length, so technically covers the tush and could even be worn with legging and it also has slight batwing sleeves and an overall cozy, boyfriend fit.

For the casual look, I paired it with my fav v-neck t-shirt and neutral booties from Sole Society. It’s a super easy outfit that doesn’t require much thought but is still comfy and cute. I’ve been wearing these booties non-stop. They are a great shape and can be worn all day long. One of my favorite features is that they are slip on, making it easy to throw them on as I’m heading out of the door…still feeling polished.

What I’m really loving about cardigans lately is how they can be dressed up for a little bit of a cozy-sexy look (that’s really not a thing, but maybe it should be)! I swapped out my casual booties for a sparkly flat and my cotton tee for a silky cami and voila, automatic upgrade and ready for a cozy Holiday date night!

The contrast of a silky cami + a chunky cardigan is so fun to play around with and a perfect way to dress up your knits. I paired it with deep purple here to mix things up, but a black one would also work great.

Let be honest, though…the real stars of this look are the SHOES! It was love at first sight for me and these glitter babes. Thankfully, they are just as amazing in person and I now have a go-to flat for the holidays! They also come in black and silver, so you can choose a pair based on which color you wear most.

So. dang. cute! And I should also mention that the pointed shape did make my legs feel longer, which is always great…especially when wearing flats. These can easily be paired back to lots of Holiday dresses, distressed skinnies, sweaters, you name it…they perfect accessory to take any Winter outfit up a notch.
