Off The Shoulder Sweatshirt Worn Two Ways! October 27, 2017 | A style post on a Friday you say? I mean what are the odds! Not ONE single thing has gone according to plan this week, so I thought I would just finish strong, ya know 😉 I had grand plans to get SO much done this past week and, shockingly enough…I get next to nothing done. We leave on Monday to spend a week in Louisiana with my family and we are so excited! It will be baby Lawson’s first time there with everyone and Landry cannot wait to show her the ropes. I also finally get to see my parents’ finished farmhouse (I’ll take you guys along!), we get to trick-or-treat with all of their cousins and celebrate my dad’s big 6-0 birthday! Such a fun week ahead, but needless to say I’ll be running around like crazy this weekend trying to get my ducks in a row. Moving on, the off the shoulder sweatshirt that I’m talking about today was one of your absolute favs from the Athleisure Capsule Wardrobe post, so I thought that I would show you how versatile it was and style it dressed up a little and dressed down. OTS Sweatshirt (tons of colors) | Leggings | Similar Sneakers | Aviators I love that this top feels like a sweatshirt, but creates a silhouette that’s really versatile. It’s blousy throughout the midsection and then has a forgiving band around the hem that gives it some shape towards the bottom. It’s long enough to cover the rear and fits in such a way that you can easy jazz it up a little. Here, I’m wearing it with my Zella high waisted leggings, which are a great fit for everyday wear. They are slimming and definitely keep the mid-section in check with their higher rise. I would also highly recommend the Amazon leggings that I’ve been raving about. The same amazing fit (except a slightly lower rise), and about $20 cheaper. Next, I’m dressing it up just a little with my all time favorite jeans. Speaking of, I’m not quite sure that I’ve ever gotten such great feedback on ANYthing before. But I’m sure you guys are sick of hearing me gush about them, so I’ll zip it. The jeans and booties take the off the shoulder top up just a little, but could still be worn casually or to something like a low key dinner or happy hour. To dress it up even more, pair the top with your favorite black skinny jeans and a cute racerback lace bralette. OTS Sweatshirt | *THE* Jeans (as I refer to them on Instagram) see also, same tstyle without as much distressing | Black Booties | Felt Hat Turn on your JavaScript to view content This top also comes in a TON of colors and makes it all the more versatile. One of those pieces that you will throw on and go, especially for busy mornings where you don’t really want to think. I will also mention that the off the shoulder always catches my hubby’s eye. It’s just a small detail that makes me feel not as frumpy after a long day with the kids 😉 I hope that you guys have a great weekend! Lots of fun stuff coming next week, so stay tuned! xoxo Weekend Sales: Nordstrom just took new 40% off markdowns HERE. LOFT is offering 50% off nearly everything HERE.
