Spending the next full day with the team at Better Homes and Gardens was seriously a dream. I grew up with my mom getting every BHG issue and I would always end up flipping through them, even at a young age. To know that I was invited to spend the day with the entire team and be amongst some of the most talented bloggers out there was actually surreal to me. I soaked up every single second of the day and am so grateful for how amazing the experience was! FTD sent over the most incredible bouquets of flowers for us to arrange with the guidance of the amazing Matthew Robbins. You guys, he’s literally done florals for some of the most famous people in the world…and rightfully so, because he oozes talent. Above was the arrangement I crafted. One: Talked tablescapes with one of the most talented and nicest people I know, the amazing Eddie Ross! His book Modern Mix is so good and is available NOW! Two: #ootd for a fun day of learning. Wearing this pleated leather skirt again (shocking, I know). Shop the outfit HERE. Three: So thankful for these two goofballs and having them here in Charlotte! Simple Stylings + designPOST Interiors Four: Let’s talk about this view. Cocktail party at the top of the Hudson Hotel. One: Got a chance to visit the One Kings Lane HQ in TriBeca and literally never wanted to leave their showroom. It’s simply dreamy. Two: Played tourist on our walk up and stopped by 66 Perry St, which is Carrie Bradshaw’s brownstone in SATC. You can’t help but feeling a little carried away thinking about all of the scenes that happened there. Three: #ootd for strolling and shopping. Details HERE. Four: Topped off our wonderful day with a red velvet cupcake from Billy’s Bakery. YUM! Thanks so much for following along on Instagram and Snapchat! Cheers to new things!
