Tops Under $50 + Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 June 28, 2017 | Whohoo it’s hump day and there are lots of fun things to discuss today! I cannot believe I’m writing this but you guys it’s time to gear up for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 Event! If you’ve been following for a while now you know that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is my jam. I truly become your eyes and ears on the ground and do a ton of virtual personal shopping for readers. It’s one of my favorite times of the year and when I’ve really gotten to know you guys the most. ::If you’re an Anniversary Sale Veteran and already have a game plan, skip down to the bottom of this post because I’ve rounded up tons of Tops Under $50:: If you’re not familiar, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 is an annual event where pre-season (and in-season) clothes, shoes and accessories for the entire family are temporarily marked down. This means that Nordstrom gives you access to all of their brand new and trend-right Fall clothes ahead of the season AND at a discount of at least 30% off of normal retail. It’s a perfect time to stock up on back to school items for the kids, revamp your hubby’s work wardrobe or grab some more pricey essentials for yourself (like boots, denim and coats) while they are marked down. I have SO many fun things planned for the sale (which I will share this week and next week), but first I wanted to give you guys some groundwork on what to expect. Here are some of the FAQ that I get about the Anniversary Sale: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a once yearly sale at Nordstrom , where they take in on-trend FALL merchandise and temporarily mark it down, allowing you to stock up ahead of time. The buyers at Nordstrom hand select merchandise that they feel is either a closet staple, trendy piece for the upcoming season or something that’s consistently popular year after year and mark it down substantially during the sale, so that you don’t feel guilty buying for the entire family and preparing for back to school and the cooler temps to come. The stock on each piece is limited and the prices on all items go back up on August 8th. Here’s a full list of important dates fro the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: July 13th | Pre-sale for Nordstrom Cardholders only If you don’t yet have a Nordstrom card…keep reading…there’s still time! July 21st | Nordstrom Anniversary Sale open to the public August 6th | LAST DAY TO SHOP August 7th | Prices go back up Confused about how this all works? Well, here’s how you can ensure the best pieces in your size from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale end up in your cart! Make sure that you have a Nordstrom Card! This is the only way to shop on Thursday and truly the best way to ensure that you get the best of the best deals. You can still apply for one and get it active in time HERE. If you already HAVE a Nordstrom Card, make sure that it’s current and active. I ran into this problem last year and it was no bueno. I totally forgot to switch out my cards and had an expired one…wah wah. SUBSCRIBE to my email list! When the sale goes live, you will get all of my personal favorites in your inbox, shoppable moodboards, style tips on how to wear these pieces and all of my top picks so that you never have to leave the comfort of your sofa to brave the craziness of the store! I’m not a big fan of Instagram notifications, but in this case I think that it’s a good idea to turn them on. I’ll be posting lots of fit reviews on Instagram, so you’ll definitely want to “turn on post notifications” in order not to miss them (especially since Instagram is totally not showing all posts lately)! Know what you NEED going in to it and zone in on those pieces first. Super trendy pieces or fun add ons can hop into your cart once you secure the basics first. BOOTS, Boots, Boots!!! This is the absolute best time to buy boots for Fall! Over the knee, Booties, Flat Boots…you name it they will have all of the hottest boots on sale! I’ve got my eye on a gorgeous pair of camel over the knee boots and some black booties…stay tuned! The hottest boots (especially the designer options, *hint* Tory Burch) always sell through so quickly. JEANS! With Fall on the horizon, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is definitely the time to snag a few new pairs of jeans. There are designer options and under $100 options alike and you can be sure all of the on trend silhouettes (skinny, flare, distressed, and raw edge) will be on sale. I always snag a pair of Joes Jeans during the sale. COATS! So many coat options available for the entire family and I always buy Landry’s winter coat and lightweight jacket during this time, especially since there’s NO chance she’ll fit in last years. Sweaters + Basics! I always find great lightweight sweaters, cute tunics, plaid button ups and cute basic tees to stock up on for Fall. Mens Suiting! Not something that typically sells out, but my husband gets a new Hugo Boss suit every.year. during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It’s a great way to keep his lineup updated and it’s great to get it at such a discount, because otherwise these things never go on sale! Handbags | Always a great time to snag a Fall bag. All of the best designer brands are on sale…Rebecca Minkoff, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, you name it! I’ve got my sights set on a gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff saddle bag!!! Some of these bags DO sell through fast, so be sure to pull the trigger if you do need an updated bag. Beauty | SO many good deals over the the beauty department, from fragrance to cleansing and beauty essentials…they are all on SALE! Lots of brands put together great kits and combinations that are such great deals. Any menswear is a bonus as well either for my husband to get for himself or to get him as a gift. I’ll actually be moving from Texas to Colorado right after the sale ends, so this is perfect timing for me to stock up on the fall and winter pieces I’m lacking! Glad I’ll finally have a good excuse for shopping 🙂 Excited to see all your recommendations!
