My New Favorite Jeans!

The dreaded event. Shopping for new denim. I loathe thee. I swore that once the baby weight was le gone I would “treat” myself to a nice new pair of designer jeans. And well, I’ve been putting it off for months now. I have become victim to the tights, long sweater/tunic, boots look for about 2 years now and kinda still love it, but there was no denying that I needed some new dark skinnies for Fall. The back story is that my thighs are BFF’s (pretty much inseparable those girls) and I’m packing some junk back there, so I really do dread trying on new jeans. One Saturday am when I had D with me I decided to take the plunge. I went into Nordstrom really thinking that I wanted the Rag and Bone Skinnies or another pair of my faithful J Brand skinnies. As I am walking into the fitting room, I spotted these beauties below. Very unassuming and kinda towards the back, but the wash was perfect so I added them to the “try on” pile. It was a very rare occasion that I asked for the hubs’ opinion, but this time I did. Of course, he said that he liked all three (duh, did he have a choice of what to say anyway?) but chose this Treasure & Bond pair as his favorite. I liked them best too and when I looked down at the price tag I almost yelped with excitement…$78?! Um holy amazing compared to the $218 price tag that the Rag & Bone’s are packing. And thus, why I feel like I should tell you about them. They fit amazing and (for all of you mommies out there) they hit just slightly above the hip bones and have a nice wide, well made waistband….for that lovely muffin top area that no one has time for. The associate at the register was so pumped that I liked them and said that they had all bought a pair and loved them as well. Anyway, should you want denim shopping to get a whole lot easier (and cheaper!)  give these puppies a whirl!
