Mother’s Day Gifts with Diamonds Direct May 9, 2018 | Happy Hump Day, friends! Today I’m partnering with Diamonds Direct again for some Mother’s Day gift ideas! Last time we partnered was around Christmas time (check out the post HERE if you missed it!) and you guys gave such amazing feedback that we decided to drum up some Mother’s Day gift ideas for you to pass along to your hubs 😉 Side note: Diamonds Direct is based in Charlotte, but they also have a HUGE showroom in Dallas, so I’m still able to enjoy their amazing selection and first class customer service. Not to mention, they have a website AND tons of other locations throughout the country. Earlier this week I took to the store and scoured the cases for my top Mother’s Day gift picks and tried to keep the prices under $1,000, which was shockingly easy to do since they have such an incredible assortment. For Mother’s Day they are also offering 0% financing for 36 months through May 12! Let’s kick it off with bands and stackables because that’s hands down the number one most asked question (not related to fashion) over on Instagram. You guys are always wanting to know more about my bands and to see how I mix and match them. I will say that my bands are probably the most precious thing that I own. The two thin diamonds bands are my wedding rings (Dan surprised me with two on the alter, the second being my wedding gift), the other 3 diamond bands were given to me as a push present for Lawson and the new sapphire band was created for me by Diamonds Direct! I’ve mentioned it before, but Dan and I don’t splurge on each other often (read: never), but when it’s time for a nice gift, he always heads to Diamonds Direct, which I totally appreciate. I’ve loved having these and mixing them up each day…truly, I’m trying a new combination ALL OF THE TIME and it keeps things fresh and fun for me. Below is my current favorite combo… *Note: Anything you see in this post is indeed available at Diamonds Direct, it just may not be on their website. You can always call or email and reference this post and they will absolutely be able to help you! The stackables selection at Diamonds Direct is truly unreal. They have hundreds of bands to choose from…all in different sizes, styles and price ranges (see below). I combed through ALL of them and found the very best bands for stacking that are well under $1,000 each and perfect for Mother’s Day! First, can we drool over this assortment of sapphire bands?! If you’re looking to add an unexpected punch to your wedding set, consider adding a sapphire band…I LOVE the look! Ok ladies, here you go…four full ring stacks (12 rings total) that are made up of bands under $1,000 each. When it came down to it, the majority of these are actually between $500-800 each and are SO SO beautiful. They all look great stacked up, but you could also buy just a special one to add to your wedding set or slowly build a stack with each special occasion. Are these not beautiful??? Such a statement for way less money than I expected. I’m still drooling over that middle sapphire + diamond band, I love the vintage feel. My tip for saving a substantial amount of money when buying stackables is to have the stones only go half way around and then put sizing beads on the inside of the ring (done free at Diamonds Direct) to keep it from spinning around on your finger. I’ve done this with all of my rings and I’ve been really happy with the results. Here were some other gorgeous rings that are as practical for everyday wear and came in well under $1,000. One of my favorite rings in the entire store is the middle one. It’s SUCH a great price (around $650, I think) and is substantial enough to wear alone, but also makes a statement in a ring stack. I tried to keep this post focused on stackables, since that’s what I know is highest on your list, but here are a few other pieces that caught my eye. That Y necklace to the left is definitely out of my “under $1,000” budget but it catches my eye EVERYtime I’m in the store and I thought it was worthy of sharing again. I love that it’s versatile enough to wear with a plain white tee and jeans OR really dress up with a deep V dress. This one is on my dream list for sure. Dan- did you read that? The necklace on the right is actually well under $1,000 and was even prettier in person. It’s a 2-1 and has more of a fashion forward feel. Diamonds Direct has such a gorgeous selection of necklaces. These dainty diamond bar necklaces can easily be worn alone or layered up. The top ones falls within the Under $1,000 category, too! I also loved these diamond ear crawlers. Great for a stylish mama to wear everyday… Ok, I only just scratched the surface you guys…now you’ll have to go in and see for yourself! I know that I mentioned it it our last post, but their customer service, prices and overall selection cannot be beat. We’ve had a wonderful experience and have been customer for 10 years now! Make sure to forward this post along to your hubby or head into a store near you to take advantage of the Mother’s Day financing offer and get something that you REALLY want 😉 Thanks for indulging me in a post that’s a little different than usual! It’s always fun to venture out a little, especially when I know it’s something that you’re interested in! Tell me what your favorite Diamond Direct piece was in the comments below– dying to hear!
Donna Hebert says May 9, 2018 at 10:25 AM Enjoying your post and shopping tips since I hate shopping. So thanks for doing all the homework and narrowing down the market. Can you suggest a dark denim that does not rub off on hands, furniture and leather car seats! My car seats and light furniture have been ruined bc of jeans.

Colleen Larsen says May 10, 2018 at 3:09 PM Hi Mallory – I’m a newer follower of your blog and just love your fashion sense! I have been looking for rings similar to these…that can be worn in multiples. I’ve tried to click on your post in the hopes that it would take me directly to the rings you’ve pictured on the Diamonds Direct website and it’s not working. Can you create links to the specific grouping of bands? I’m dying to show my husband! 🙂
