Moodboard Monday: Malachite October 28, 2013 | While I have really been enjoying putting together a little “weekend recap” each Monday…this past weekend would have looked like a pitiful sick baby, NoseFrida, humidifiers, and lots of unhealthy takeout. Seriously, the highlight of my weekend was painting my nails…and by that, I mean slapping on a coat over my two week old chipping manicure. Needless to say, I didn’t think you’d be interested. So, I put together something much more beautimous for you to feast your tired eyes on. Lately, I have been so obsessed with all things Malachite….fabrics, wallpaper, jewelry, trinkets…you name it and I probably like it. I have long been in love with emerald green, so malachite is a fresh new take on my beloved pantone. I particularly love it best paired with pinks, purples, golds, and even a little leopard print (duh). Sally Wheat did it best below. Santa Baby, I’ve been a real good girl. House Envy says October 29, 2013 at 1:13 AM love this! I just bought a green malachite box for my husbands things to display in our bedroom. Of course I love the yellow and green together. Our whole front room reno is based around these 2 colors with the black and white! Emerald is such a rich color! I know the new color is all the royal blues but I still love the emerald better!
