Moodboard Monday: Bastille Day Inspired Dining Nook

Okay, I know that technically it’s almost Tuesday, but I’m squeezing this Moodboard Monday in regardless. It’s no secret that I love all thing French. I’m smitten with the culture, the food, the architecture and the glamour. Any excuse to celebrate all things French and I’m in. So in honor of Bastille Day today, I put together a French inspired dining nook. Mixing casual and classic bistro chairs, with a bold floral rug and gilded accessories is what the French style is all about to me. Their street fashion is so understated yet chic, and their furnishings are rich with history and glamour….which never makes sense, but always seems perfect. What do you think about mixing classic with bold?
