Mood Board Monday: A Thanksgiving Table November 18, 2013 | I’m so guilty of it. I have officially overlooked Thanksgiving. So since our weekend was pretty boring (in a really good relaxing, good food eating, lots of baby girl playing kind of way) I thought that I would pay Thanksgiving its proper respects instead of a weekend recap. I really do love the Holiday, but since we are away from all of our family I won’t be hosting anyone this year. ((Even though my mama bird will be here!!…we have elected for a nice dinner out instead)). Here are a few images of tables that I love and a board on how I would set my own. Forget the neutral tones and lets bring on the color and pattern. Bold geometric patterns paired with fuchsia, turquoise, royal blue and gold. um signed, sealed delivered. I’m also not one for matching china pieces. I love my gold chargers with vintage china, mixed flatware and collected serving pieces. I plan on putting a Christmas table together for the bloggy just to show you what I vintage china hoarding problem I have in real life. Until then, let’s be thankful and enjoy Thanksgiving for what it is…a time with friends and family lots of laughter and a belly full of good food….Christmas will come people…I promise. via via via Lonny via So tell me…what are your plans for Thanksgiving? Are you hosting a big meal or dining out? Happy Monday!
Carrie @ Cosy Carolina Interiors says November 18, 2013 at 6:25 PM Great roundup! I have the same philosophy as you do for setting the table: mix it up! 🙂 Our plans are in limbo because we are in the midst of a move to a new house. I'd love to host even a small dinner with some family but we will likely go to my in-laws' instead.
