Mood Board Monday: Moody Half Bath August 4, 2014 | Today I’m sharing some initial thoughts on where I want our half bath to go. It’s an awkward under-the-staircase little half bath, but more often than not, is the only place where our guests use the loo. When we moved in it was wallpapered in a vertical beige stripe…not too offensive, but super annoying and boring. So to fix the problem temporarily, I had it painted white to give me a blank canvas to start with in the mean time. To me, half baths should be moody and a fun…always a little surprising. I discovered Wallternatives at Haven Conference and totally fell head over heels in love with their removable wall paper. Their prints are so on trend and speak right to my floral loving little heart. Better yet, they can be removed should you want a quick change. The white pedestal sink stays, but I’d also love to update the builder grade un-framed mirror and the sconce lighting. See how I pulled it all together below…and also see what I’m currently working with. Sources: Gold Bamboo Mirror: Pier 1 (ON MAJOR SALE!!! Under $100!)
