Mood Board Monday: Christmas Table Inspiration January 6, 2014 | Yes, yes I know that the Holidays are over. Don’t worry your pretty little minds…my tree is finally down, garlands are put away and the glitter is vacuumed up…scratch that the glitter never really goes away no matter how many times I vacuum! Anyway, remember how I told you guys that you would be seeing our table scape in January…well here it is! I actually had the whole thing set and photographed and then got oh.so.sick a few days before leaving for vacation. I never got around to editing and publishing this post and, well, frankly I don’t care that it’s no longer relevant, because it makes me happy. This season I stuck with my traditional gold around the rest of the house (remember the tree?) but I was so loving pops of bright pink when curating the table scape. I found the gold and ivory polka dot runner at TJ Maxx and it was love at first sight…I think that she will stay around all year. I also decided to grow my own paper whites this year and they were the perfect centerpiece (total cost about $10!) I had the gold chargers and mixed and matched some of my favorite vintage china pieces to bring out the pops of color that I was using. I also scored some great green/pale pink wine glasses at the Salvation Army for $8 total and they were perfect with everything. The antlers were an Ebay score (which I tried to do at DIY mount with and failed miserably lol) but they are great pops of interest on the table. So here she is in all of her post holiday season glory…. These fun little trophies are my favorite Dollar Tree steal. Added a little floral foam some moss and a mini chalkboard for a fun and unexpected place card. I also use them as match holders next to my fav candles. So how are you guys feeling? A little relieved that the Holidays are over or already missing the twinkling lights and Holiday cheer? I’m so glad to be back into a routine, but there’s really nothing like Christmas time to me.
