Mood Board Monday: Bold and Bright Living Room

Happy Monday…hopefully you have the day off and are still bumming around in your pj’s and on your second cup of coffee! Just a quick hello today to share a mood board that should make your Monday a whole lot brighter! There are two things on this board that I cannot get off my mind….the Designers Guild floral fabric and the Bernhardt cocktail table….so why not design a new living room around them, right?! Honestly, that floral. Let’s get real. It makes my heart stop. I see these as huge euros trimmed in fuchsia on an ivory sofa. And I, of course, would love to mix lots of prints with it (leopard in particular, duh) and bring out the deep fuchsia in accent pieces, ie the tufted ottomans (that are part of Target’s new Threshold collection). And then let’s talk about the cocktail table. There are no words. I love her so much and need her. The black and white bold stripe rug is a great anchor that’s basic, but still adds some interest. And that pistachio lamp from Lulu and Georgia has made an appearance on here before…I think that I just need to buckle down an buy a pair of these guys. So what do you think? Interesting and fun with tons of color and pattern? Or a little too cray for your taste?
