Men’s Amazon Fashion Haul: Spring Edition! April 18, 2019 | Today we have a very very special guest taking over the blog and I think that you guys are going to really like what he came here with! Over the past two years and as I’ve really taken a deep dive into shopping on Amazon for clothes, Dan’s interest has definitely peaked. He’s been watching everything I’ve found and is able to see the quality and knows the prices. Funny enough, it wasn’t until just a few months ago that we even attempted to buy HIM something clothes related on Amazon and now we’re hooked. Here’s the deal—it took some getting used to that we were going to buy dress shoes or pants from Amazon. He was totally cool with the really casual, weekend stuff but the work stuff took a while for him to get used to. Once he got everything in and we styled it all together—sometimes with his nice suits and belts and sometimes as a head to toe Amazon look—and he could see that it the overall look was what mattered, he hasn’t looked back. I feel like women are much more open to the mixing of high and low pieces all in one outfit, but guys are a little harder to crack. Overall we were both REALLY impressed with the look, quality, fit and feel of the pieces that we are sharing with you today. These are great closet updates for your husband or son that feel on trend and won’t break the bank. Thanks for sharing these looks with everyone, babe. You were a great sport! Dan’s Stats: 6’4 | 215 | Athletic Build | Longer Torso | 36×32 Pants | L Shirts Best Brands on Amazon for Men: GOODTHREADS | AMAZON ESSENTIALS | BRUNO MARC SHOES Men’s Amazon Fashion Haul: First up is this business casual look! If your guy works in an office where the dress code is a little more laid back–here’s a great head to toe Amazon look. The flat front dress chinos were a great slim, modern fit and the quality was on point for $25! We ordered these in navy, grey and khaki for everyday wear in the workplace. They are also great options for Sunday Best. The button up is super easy and well made. It’s on the casual side as there are no collar stays but great for a laid back office or weekend wear. Comes in a ton of colors and is UNDER $20! The other item that we were blown away by in this outfit was the oxford sneakers! We both LOVE this Cole Haan version (see HERE for $280) and were shocked by the Amazon version for $43! They have a dress shoe look but more of a sneaker bottom and it’s the best of both worlds! Dan wore these the work almost immediately and has probably worn them everyday since. Poplin Plaid Button Up $18 | Slim Fit Flat Front Chinos ($25) | Belt $19 | Wingtip Shoes ($42.99) This shirt was another winner! I could see it getting lots of weekend wear and this is something that Dan would likely throw on for a date night or even church. We tried this one in both L and XL and the L definitely worked better for a clean, slim fit. It’s $25 and comes in a TON of colors. We ended up buying the light and dark blue plaids. Dan’s favorite surprise from the haul was these oxford sneakers! They are under $30 and really such a great shoe. They feel a little more trendy than a deck shoe, but still have the same comfort and functionality. He’s normally a size 13 and does recommend sizing down in these. The photo doesn’t do the pants enough justice, because we were both BLOWN away by how good these are. They are SUPER similar to the AG Everett Slim pants (see those HERE for nearly $200!) in fit and feel. Dan loves the AG Everetts and owns a few pair, but it’s always so hard to stomach the price. These from Amazon are $30 and have an awesome slim cut and overall feel. These pants are awesome for weekend wear and Dan wears them for casual Fridays in the office, Date night and Church. They are by far the most flattering pants he has—giving the look of a pair of jeans but the feel of a washed chino. THESE ARE A MUST TRY! Slim Fit Button Down Shirt $25 | Flat Front Slim Chino Jeans $30 | Belt $19 | Oxford Sneakers $28.99 We couldn’t get over that these button ups are $16! They come in 18 colors and patterns and we bought 3 colors and were not disappointed in one of them! Great for Summer weekend wear and pair back to shorts and jeans really well! Short Sleeve Button Up $16 (18 colors and patterns) | Flat Front Slim Chino Jeans $30 | Belt $19 | Oxford Sneakers $28.99 This is the same $16 button up paired back to the flat front chino. I know that I’ve mentioned before, but THESE DRESS SHOES ARE LEGIT! They were our first Amazon Men’s purchase and will still go down as one of out best. They look like VERY similar to this designer pair that Dan had been wearing, but are UNDER $30!!!! We’ve been impressed with the quality and how well they’ve worn over the past few months. These are such winners. Slim Fit Button Up Shirt $16 (8 colors) | Slim Fit Flat Front Chinos ($25) | Belt $19 | Dress Oxford Shoes $30 First, let’s talk about this slub knit polo. Dan’s kinda of funky with polo’s and really likes for them to be soft and wearable. This one definitely fit the bill and is twenty bucks flat! It comes in a ton of colors and is a great breathable polo for Summer-long wear. Runs TTS and he’s wearing a L here. Next, the shorts. We have a pretty hard time finding shorts that are long enough and not cargo shorts. These are a great 9” inseam and have a clean flat front and trim fit. They are great for Summer weekend wear and at the $25 price, we will be stocking up! Lightweight Slub Knit Polo $20 | 9” Flat Front Shorts $25 (7 colors) | Flip Flops A short sleeve chambray button up is something that Dan wears a TON during the Summer. They look great with colored shorts or the chino jeans we mentioned earlier. They have a clean, crisp look and chambray never gets old in my book. This one has a trim, modern fit and we both loved the look of it! A must have for $30! Chambray Button Down $30 | Similar Belt on Amazon $9 | 9” Flat Front Shorts $25 (7 colors) This poplin printed parrot shirt was my favorite casual shirt and it actually grew on Dan too. It feels a little funky, but overall is clean and crisp when paired with flat front shorts and your fav flip flops. Printed Poplin Button Up Shirt | 9” Flat Front Shorts $25 (7 colors) Another great modern button down option for Summer. This one is made of thick cotton and gives a crisp look. I also love it paired with the navy chino jeans! Slim Fit Oxford Stipe Shirt $30 | 9” Flat Front Shorts $25 (7 colors) HERE WERE OUR FAVORITE BRANDS FROM THE HAUL: GOODTHREADS | AMAZON ESSENTIALS | BRUNO MARC SHOES HERE WERE OTHER BASICS THAT WE STOCKED UP ON AND REALLY LIKED: ATHLETIC BOXER BRIEFS (3 PK)| WHITE V NECK UNDER SHIRTS (6PK) | DRESS SOCKS (5PACK) Thanks babe for being such a good sport and being my biggest cheerleader always….even when it involves you doing stuff like this. I hope that you guys enjoyed this and found it helpful for navigating Amazon Men’s fashion offerings! Elizabeth says April 19, 2019 at 9:36 AM The link to the collarless shirt you mention near the top, takes you to the long sleeved oxford. I’m super interested in the collarless option for my husband. Can you fix the link please?? I searched but didn’t have any luck!!
Style Your Senses says April 22, 2019 at 11:31 PM Hey Elizabeth! Dan isn’t wearing a collarless shirt in this post? Send me the pic you’re referring to—happy to help!
Elizabeth says April 25, 2019 at 9:17 AM You’re right. I totally misread this line… The button up is super easy and well made. It’s on the casual side as there are no collar stays but great for a laid back office or weekend wear. Comes in a ton of colors and is UNDER $20! I’ve read it multiple times over and totally missed the word “stays”. I was thinking it was just an additional link to a collar-less shirt that you liked but didn’t order or something. My eyes were playing tricks on me…or my mind was seeing what I thought I wanted. (it can’t be age and the possibility of needing new glasses!) Sorry!!!
