Memorial Day + Sales

Hi! A rare Saturday post…whohooo! Before I jump into all of the amazing sales that are happening now, I really do want to take a second to remember what Memorial Day really means. While the Holiday has now become known as “the official start to Summer” and is celebrated with food, fun, sales and fireworks…it’s really a day of remembrance for all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and afforded us the freedom to enjoy a BBQ with our friends and family. I truly cannot imagine the bravery that it takes to fight on the front lines or what it means to be a family member who receives the news that your loved one won’t be making it back. I am forever grateful for these families who sacrifice so so much for us all. Please remember them in your prayers this weekend and consider donating your time and/or money to help a widowed military family.

Ann Taylor’s style factor has been so impressive lately. They are definitely not just a a workwear destination any more and I cannot get over how much I love each new collection they launch! Anthropologie is celebrating with 30% off of sale items and they just marked down quite a few new pieces. Loving this llittle white peplum top that is now $35 (?!)…so cute with distressed denim shorts or even skinnies. I also bought twist back tee ($21!) to wear with a cute strappy sports bra for a relaxed summer look…

ASOS is always my go-to for more fashion forward pieces and 20% off of their already low prices is a total steal. If you are still on the hunt, they definitely have the best selection of the super hot off-the-shoulder trend and they always offer free shipping both ways, which is such a win for me!

Banana Republic has been blowing me away lately (there are a few fun looks coming to SYS soon!) and their new arrivals are NO exception. You guys…their dresses….omg…hello Summer Weddings!! I bought this one last week and am itching to wear it to an outdoor event. It’s SO good! See all of my favorite below (that are all 40% off)!!!

Lots of new+classic prints and patterns and the same colors that I love. I could not resist gingham shirt dress (esp at 30% off!)…I think that it’s just too cute and easy to throw on with a fedora and flip flops during the summer! I may have bought it in another color too, i’ll be asking for your help on that one later today!

LOFT is certainly one of my favorites for casual pieces that I call my “chic Mom-i-form” and they are offering 40-60% off of everything…including my black racerback dress that I won’t shut up about. Old Navy always has great deals, but they are in overdrive this weekend! To me, this is the best time to stock up on kids clothes because it’s finally really warm and you know that they won’t immediately outgrow what you buy!
