Luxury Gift Guide for HER (aka YOU) December 5, 2016 | Good (Monday) Morning to you guys! I cannot believe that I couldn’t pull off The Friday Edit last week, but the week completely got away from me. I CAN say that there’s a pretty fun week coming up for ya this week including these Gift Guides, our Holiday Home Tour, really fun stocking stuffer ideas AND our I’m sharing our chocolate chip cookies for Santa recipe…so stay tuned! Today I’m talking Gifts Guide for YOU and more specifically luxury gifts for you… Typically us ladies think of ourselves last (if at all) when it comes to gifting. Truth be told you really don’t want need anything, but your husband and or parents are constantly bugging you for ideas. Well, the good news is that while I might be short on time this year, I am NOT short on ideas and I wanted to pass them along to you. I actually had SO many ideas (shocking, I know) that I had to break them down into two separate categories so that I wouldn’t overwhelm you…haha! I’ve broken this post down into “Luxury Gifts for the Neutral Lover” and “Luxury Gifts for the Girly Girl,” so many sure to keep scrolling and check out both. Now lets be clear, “luxury” doesn’t mean that everything on here is over $500…actually not even close…it means that these are nice(er) things that I personally wouldn’t go out and buy myself on a daily basis. These are great ideas for gifting gals who have everything and are a perfect way to drop hints to your hubby…just forward this post along, leave some numbers as hints and actually let him treat you to something nice, ladies! Here’s what I’ve had my eye on…Dan take notes, babe 😉 *Shop directly from the boards by clicking on the item OR scroll down to shop by number and read more about why I chose each item… Gift Guide for the Neutral Lover JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. It’s a bit edgier than their traditional quilted jacket and has more shaping and style details, which I love. This is a piece that you can dress up or down and wear for the next 10 years…making it 100% worth the investment. Two | Eye, Cheek, & Lip Palette I love that this neutral palette keeps everything in one place and is great for everyday wear. I like the idea of buying one for your makeup bag at home and one for touchups at your office or to keep in your handbag. The price might actually surprise you. Three | Suede and Studs Bag I love love this new bag from Rebecca Minkoff! It’s so on trend with the suede fabric and gold style details. It comes in 3 other great neutrals and is an awesome fashion bag for the winter that won’t break the bank. Shop all Rebecca Minkoff HERE. Four | Makeup Brush Cleaner This is definitely on my list this year! I think that this makeup brush cleaner is 100% pure genius and really does solve a big annoyance in my life…cleaning makeup brushes. I get so annoyed at having to go through my brushes on by one and probably so a total half a$$ just when I actually DO clean them. This way you load them into this handy machine with cleaning solution and they come out good as new! Five | Mules Do you guys remember THIS post when we talked about the mule trend? Well everyone went bananas over the metallic silver ones and they sold out in a hot second. I wasn’t able to find a good dupe until these babies! How fun are they in general, but especially for the Holidays!?! Six | Over the Knee Boots These investment boots are truly something that you’ll wear 1.) all of the time & 2.) for many seasons to come. They come in 3 neutrals and are also available in a variety of heel options. Definitely something to consider, gals…there’s nothing like a good over the knee boot to make a woman feel sexy in the dead of winter! Seven | The Coveteur I adore this new coffee table book. Not only do I love what The Coveteur does on a daily basis, I adore having all of the best of the best of their work tied together in one gorgeous coffee table book! Shop all of my favorite coffee table books HERE. Eight | Mara Hoffman Shirtdress If you’ve been following along for any amount of time, you know my love for Mara Hoffman! Her prints and silhouettes speak to me every time and, while I don’t normally go out and buy her stuff for myself very often, I think that dresses like this make the perfect gifts. Trust me, you will gravitate to wear her pieces over and over, year after year! Shop all of Mara Hoffman HERE. Nine | Gucci Crossbody Bag This little black cross body is such a great investment piece. It’s practical in the fact that you will always need a black cross body for something and it’s not over-the-top or especially loud. It’s classic and functional and something that I could even see sending down to Landry one day 🙂 Ten | Chanel Earrings These vintage beauties stopped me in my tracks. I love how they are such the classic black and white (and pearl) look of Chanel and think that they would make an absolutely amazing gift! Shop all vintage Chanel HERE. Eleven | Bow Print Pajamas Talk to me about how adorable these jammies are?!?! I can’t even handle you Kate Spade, your cuteness overwhelms. I put these on my list regardless of the fact that I won’t be able to wear them until May, so you KNOW how much I must love them, right?! Shop all Kate Spade jammies HERE. Twelve | Monogrammed Duffle You guys LOVED this duffle bag from this summer’s What to Pack post (p.s. might want to read that one if you’re traveling for the Holidays) and I think that it really does make an awesome gift! My mom ended up ordering herself one for under the Christmas tree because the loved it so much! I love how each bag is so personalized and this one in particular looks like the much much more expensive Louis Vuitton duffle! One | Faux Fur Throw A cozy, luxe throw to display or curl up in that comes in 3 great neutrals. Two | Kate Spade Smart Watch eeeeep I got this as an early Christmas present and absolutely love it! It’s a smart watch that doesn’t LOOK like a smart watch! One of my biggest issues with smart watches is the typical bulky, black look of them…making me not really want to wear it when I’m wearing anything but workout wear. This smart watch has all of the cuteness of a typical Kate Spade watch, yet synchs up to your phone and does all of the fun stuff that a smart watch does…including counting steps, calories burned and even setting up alerts. Shop all “hybrid” smart watches HERE. Three | YSL Clutch Has been on my list for years…I adore this classic beauty in this neutral color! Four | Hair Brush I’ve heard amazing things about Mason Pearson hair brushes and if you have been eyeing one, but don’t want to make the $100 investment yourself, why not ask for it as a Christmas gift?? If you are second guessing the price, just read the reviews! Five | David Yurman Ring I LOVE this new style from David Yurman and actually snuck into the store to try it on. The focus is definitely around the gemstone, with less of the signature silver DY braids showing. It only comes in 3 colors, and I think that this citrine is my top pick! Six | David Yurman Bracelet This is a true classic from David Yurman. If you wear a watch everyday, this bangle is such a great piece to layer with it and build upon. A classic bracelet that you will reach for daily… Seven | Face Cream I’ve been dying to try Le Mer, but it’s definitely not something that I would go out and buy myself. I think that I might start a tradition of asking for a cream each year. That’s what one of my friends does and she makes it last all year…my kinda gal! Eight | YSL Lipstick Is this neutral pink color not gorgeous. Something that I would absolutely wear everyday. Nine | Givenchy Satchel Another bag that’s been on my radar for years and has become a classic in my book. I love the shape and feminine neutral colors that it comes in. An investment piece like this certainly won’t soon go out of style. Ten | Suede Moto Jacket This suede jacket has been all.the.rage this Fall and I think that it makes for a perfect gift under the tree. Gorgeous details, a bit of edgy details and it comes in a ton of on-trend colors. Eleven | Gold Hoop Earrings I wear gold hoops nearly everyday and I think that these would make a perfect update to the ones that I’ve been wearing for 3+ years now…HINT HINT. These Vanessa Mooney babes are a bit dressier and a bit more of a statement…lucky they still don’t break the bank! Shop all Vanessa Mooney HERE. Twelve | Lounge Caftan Ok where are my Southern Charm fans?!? Anyone else adore Patricia’s caftan collection? I’ve been dying to get on the caftan train and when I saw this one I thought that it was meant to be. Trade in your ratty robe and stained sweat pants for this glam and girly caftan that is as pretty as it is functional and comfortable! Thirteen | Coffee Snob Mug Every mama needs this, even though I assure you a tired mom would take any kind of coffee…hot, cold, designer…it doesn’t matter! I think that these fun coffee makes make awesome stocking stuffers…. Shop all gold + glam mugs HERE. Fourteen | I Scream Vase You guys, I’m a sucker for Jonathan Adler! I love his quirky and effortlessly chic designs and this ice cream cone vase is no exception! How cute styled on a coffee table with some fresh flowers?? I’m in love! Fifteen | Gucci Pumps As you can tell from these guides, I’m dying for something Gucci! I love the new creative direction that think that they are re-emerging as a total powerhouse. These “granny pumps” as I like to call them continue to sell out in my size, but I am dying for this blush pair. What color is your favorite???
