Let's Go Shopping: Kimonos August 2, 2014 | Well, it’s actually quite chilly here in Charlotte and that has been thinking about transitional clothes. I think that a piece I will definitely be carrying over from last season (and buying more of!) is the Kimono. I love that they are overall pretty lightweight, are great for layering and really cover a multitude of evils (ie my not-so-small derriere). They are also the perfect piece to start wearing now with a tank and distressed denim shorts and into the fall with skinny jeans and booties. Super chic and effortless and really they don’t require much thought when getting dressed…definitely my kind of piece these days! I’ve rounded up a few of my favorites and quite a few are UNDER $50!! Happy Shopping! Floral Tassel Kimono via SheInside $25.00 Floral Fringe Kimono via Forever 21 $29.80 Paisley Print Kimono via Nordstrom $52 Liquorish Printed Kimono with Fringing $116 Free People Broken Stripe Kimono $68 Chapala Poncho via Anthropologie $198 Long Kimono Vest via Nordstrom $38 So fun, right?? I hope that you can find a way to weave this perfect transitional piece into your wardrobe…I know you’ll love them as much as I do! Happy Weekend! < >

You can throw them on over anything and you look stylish and put together, but really you are just wearing a fancy robe around town– love it! xoxo
