Last Minute Gift Guide + Landry’s List! December 14, 2016 | I know that I sound like a broken record, but who can even get over that today is 12/14??! Not only does today mark 21 weeks with baby girl (!!!), but it also means that we are only a few days away from leaving on our “Christmas Tour” as we so fondly call it. I’m in over-drive with to-do lists, packing, organizing, shipping and wrapping all the things before we leave, so if you see much running around Charlotte like a chicken with my head cut off…please excuse this mess! In other news, yesterday was the last day for standard shipping with guaranteed Christmas delivery for most retailers, so now you’re going to be paying extra to expedite things OR thank me and shop this Amazon Prime Gift Guide! All items listed as in stock, and ready to ship Amazon Prime, meaning that you will have them by this weekend! If you don’t have Prime, what’s going on here? To me, it’s worth it just for the Holidays! p.s. this is definitely not sponsored by Amazon…I just think that prime saves the lives of busy mamas on the daily 🙂 I’m also sharing Landry’s Santa list below! It’s the top 10 items on her wish list and all are great ideas for any toddler gals on YOUR list… This is going to be my last Gift Guide of the season (see them all HERE) and I wanted to say a quick THANK YOU for your response to them. I’ve had so much fun curating each Guide and I genuinely appreciate your engagement and putting your trust in me for gifting ideas when thinking about the people who are most special to you. Amazon Echo (Limited Time $90!) So I was a little hesitant about this thing when it first came out, to be honest I thought that it was a little silly. But the more and more personal reviews I hear about it, the more that I’m intrigued. Number one it’s a bluetooth speaker, which we already use a TON in our house and number two it’s voice command which is cool for busy mamas. You can talk across the room while nursing or rocking a baby and give google commands or even order pizza. I mean that’s a win, right?? It’s on sale for $90 (that’s $40 off!) temporarily and is even eligible for free next day shipping for Prime Members. Shop it HERE. Woodgrain Essential Oils Diffuser (Limited Time $47.99) I actually have this beauty on my personal Christmas list and am so excited. Not ugly and clunky like traditional diffusers, this one is sleek and modern and beautiful to show off on any surface in your home. You can also choose between 7 light colors. Prime Eligible and 40% off for a limited time! Crab and Cleek Fair Isle Sweater Tote How stinkin’ cute is this little tote bag??? Adorned with festive fair isle sweaters, it’s no wonder why it was on Oprah’s Favorite Things list! It comes in 3 other equally adorable prints and is Prime eligible HERE. Barefoot Dreams Cardigan Another thing that’s on my personal list AND on Oprah’s Favorite Things (okay y’all it HAS to be good, right!?)! This cardigan is probably a wee bit more expensive than you may think (right over $100), but I promise once you feel it, you will understand why. I’m a huge fan of the brand itself (Barefoot Dreams) and all of their pieces are for what I like to call “The Cozy Connoisseur” …aka the girl that doesn’t play around when it comes to loungewear. It’s made of rayon and bamboo for bunny-like softness, but still drapes really pretty and isn’t unflattering. Prime eligible HERE. Cole Haan Fashion Sneaker For the guys, I think that this new take on a fashion sneaker is the perfect gift and a must-have in any modern guys closet. They have the comfort of a tennis shoe, but the leather upper and chic design make them appropriate to dress up a little with jeans. My hubby has these which are similar are we are both obsessed with them and the versatility they bring to the table. Prime eligible HERE. Werkin Stiffs Collar Stays These make the BEST gifts! Under $50 and so practical for guys who wear professional attire everyday, these collar stays are magnetic and give collars an all day stay that’s polished and perfect. I feel a little silly blogging about collar stays, but trust me these are different. My husband wears them EVERYday and literally goes into a panic when he thinks one might be lost. He’s given them as gifts to his brother, friends and co-workers. They are under $50 and eligible for Prime HERE. A great, unexpected gift that’s practical and still has a cool factor. Over the weekend, I put on Instastories that we were out playing “Santa” for Landry and quite a few of you asked if I would be sharing what was on her list. So, if you need any last minute ideas (most of these are also Amazon Prime eligible) for a pretty cool toddler gal, here are our Top 10 gifts for 2016 and what will be wrapped up for our little lady. Please also know that these gifts are spread out amongst Santa and grandparents! ONE | Me Reader Books (Nick Jr. Pals ) These are our favorite! Landry has the princess set and the Dora set and has nearly worn them out. She will lay down on the floor with them for thirty minutes to an hour and just let them read to her. The tablet is color coded with symbols and prompts for each book, alerting them when to turn the page, etc. She’s since memorized almost every book and it’s pretty incredible to watch her engage with reading. This new set will be under the tree for her! TWO | Amazon Fire for Kids This is her “big” Santa gift! I swore my kid would never have a tablet, but once I saw what this thing could do I was sold. It doesn’t require cartridge games like the LeapPad, but yet has so many educational games and apps that can be downloaded. She’s going to die! THREE | Trolls Scooter We are Trolls obsessed!!! Anyone else? FOUR | Pretend Makeup My girl is obsessing over makeup, particularly “lip closs.” I thought that this set looks pretty believable and will hopefully keep the real stuff at bay for a few more years! FIVE | Frozen Bike My poor girl outgrew her bike from last year nearly overnight, so she was long overdue for an upgrade. We went with the 18” (which you can’t find in most stores) and think that it’s going to be perfect for her tall self! Frozen, of course! SIX | Trolls Figurines Again, Troll obsessed! SEVEN | Skye Trooper I know that I am going to regret this one, but she’s been BEGGING for it! She loves Skye from Paw Patrol and this one rolls around and interacts with you. Oy! EIGHT | Moana Doll We saw Moana a few weekends back and, while some parts were a little scary, she really liked it overall. She wanted this Moana doll for Christmas, which is the perfect size for her. NINE | Wooden Princess Castle This is her “big” gift from grandparents! This puppy is 58” tall and weighs 32lbs…we were all shocked at how big it was. It accommodates dolls up to 12” and is amazing quality that can be passed down. She’s going to flip over this! TEN | Disney Princess Royal Collection 7 pack Of course her Gigi had to get her ALL of the Barbie princesses to go along with the castle…
