Look for Less | July July 5, 2016 | Oh Hi There! Long time no see! I hope that you guys had a wonderful long weekend. We had a great, relaxing few days here in Charlotte and were definitely slow going yesterday. I’m kicking off the short week with July’s Look for Less post and I love the way that it came out. Each year, at the beginning of July, I always start getting a little nudge to think about Fall. Don’t get me wrong, I’m so NOT ready to be done with Summer, but the temps over 100 degrees always leave me daydreaming for cooler weather. Today’s LFL board definitely reflected my mood with rich olive hues, lots of texture and a few layering pieces. So consider this a little pre-fall vision with pieces that you can wear now and later! Turn on your JavaScript to view content Suede Lariat Splurge $36 | Save $18 This choker / layered lariat trend is going to continue to be huge for the Fall and I love the thought of layering them with relaxed fit v-neck t-shirts and boyfriend jeans. I went with the SPLURGE option here, because it’s long enough to tie in a bow. Ivory Beaded Tassel Earrings Splurge $395 | Save $18 I love the classic elegance of these beaded tassel beauties and can see them worn throughout the summer and for special events around the Holidays. Obviously, I’m going with the SAVE option here. Panama Hat Splurge $250 | Save $18 It’s no secret that I’ve nearly worn my panama hat out this summer (mine is this same SAVE option), but I can’t help it…I absolutely love the versatility of wear and how well it disguises 3 day old hair 😉 Aviators Splurge $272 | Save $89 You guys know I love a good aviator and I’m always intrigued to step out of my RayBan comfort zone. I found this SAVE option today and absolutely love the style, details and price. I may have to give them a whirl! Braided Espadrilles Splurge $325 | Save $128 Love love love this black and ivory combo in a wedge. With the neutral, darker palette you’ll be able to wear them longer, especially in the South. I’m really a sucker for a tassel, so I’m going with the SAVE option here! Olive Military Jacket Splurge $118 | Save $38 This is certainly a piece that you need in your wardrobe going into the Fall. I’ve had mine for 3+ years now and don’t plan to be retiring it anytime soon. The olive works as a neutral and this is the perfect light layering piece Black Off the Shoulder Dress Splurge $218 |Save $88 Obviously off the shoulder is all of the rage right now, but IMO a black dress never goes out of style even with a trendy neckline. Loving these black dresses for Fall wear with a beautiful jewel tone statement earring! Black Moto Satchel Splurge $335 | Save $50 Adore these moto inspired bags with more masculine details. They make a statement without being overbearing and still work as an everyday bag. I’m going with the SPLURGE option here because you guys know how I feel about Rebecca Minkoff and I totally think that her bags are worth every penny! Suede Lace Up Heels Splurge $248 | Save $79 Absolutely loving this suede lace-up shoe trend and have been debating on which pair to buy. I really like the higher heel of the splurge option, but obviously not wild about the price. The save option is a great rich color, so I’m seriously considering them!
